Good mornin’, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew team blog hop! Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month we’re calling it Fall Frenzy! We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!
I decided to ink up a new set from the 2018 Holiday catalog, called Wishing You Well. It is absolutely gorgeous – and fits our theme perfectly – especially when added to some wood grain paper from the new Country Lane DSP. Take a look-see:
My color scheme is from The Paper Players this week – pretty “Fall-y”, wouldn’t you say? 🙂
I started with the aforementioned paper in wood-grained Early Espresso from the new Country Lane DSP (coming on 5 Sept!) and matted it on Mango Melody card stock for the card front.
For the art piece – I used my Stamparatus (I made four of these beauties!) – and first stamped the Wishing You Well flower bunch in So Saffron on a small panel of Whisper White. Next is the flowers image in Pumpkin Pie.
Finally, I stamped the bow.
The bow!! SO darned gorgeous – you don’t even have to stamp it off. You get that wonderful gauzy/net look with straight-up full-strength Pumpkin Pie ink. Thank you, Stampin’ Up!
I added the little sentiment in Early Espresso and that was it!
I matted the panel on Mango Melody and adhered it to the card-front with Liquid Glue. With my Mango Melody Stampin’ Blend Marker (in the 2018 Holiday Catalog!), I colored some Pearl Basic Jewels and add them to the card front. And…the card front was done!
On the inside, I added the flower bunch, flowers and bow to the bottom of a Whisper White panel.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Mango Melody mat and into my Early Espresso card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a reprise of the Wishing You Well flowers and bow on the front…
…and I put a little more Country Lane DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I LOVE this Wishing You Well stamp set – it would be gorgeous with nothing more than the flowers – but…the BOW! Wow – it just blows me away! I hope you like!

Stamps-N-Lingers 2018 Holiday Catalog Shares Are Open!
