Mornin’, y’all! It’s Monday again – and this week that means that I have one day left here and then I head to CA for a quick trip – back on Friday! I spent yesterday catching up on my shows in between getting cards made for the week! Never even got out of my pj’s! 😉

This card is to remind you that the Merry Patterns Christmas stamp set is still available – less than two weeks are left – and you need to get it quick! You can read on down and find out how to get your very own copy, okay? I added some Quilted Christmas DSP and came up with…take a look-see:
The layout for this card came from the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week.
And it also plays along quite nicely with the Inspire.Create.Challenges #003.
This card started with a piece of Quilted Christmas DSP, which I embossed in the Quilt Top TIEF and matted on a piece of Lemon Lime Twist.
The next layer is a strip of Whisper White, also embossed in the Quilt Top TIEF, matted on Lemon Lime Twist and adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Then I wrapped a length of Real Red Mini Tinsel Trim around the panels, securing it in the back with scotch tape.
Using Liquid Glue, I adhered a Foil Snowflake – silver side up – to the card front – offsetting it from center.
For my art piece, I cut a Stitched Shapes circle from Whisper White card stock and then stamped the candle outline image from the Merry Patterns set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
I used the two candle-fill-in images and colored the candles with Real Red and Lemon Lime Twist. Using my light and dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (available to customers on 1 Nov!), I colored the flames.
For the sentiment, I inked just the part of the large sentiment that I wanted in Real Red and added it under the candles. Then I matted the circle on its Lemon Lime Twist scalloped circle (cut with my Circles Layering Framelits) and popped it over the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I tied a small bow from the Real Red Mini Tinsel Trim and added it with a Glue Dot and the card front was done!
On the inside, I added a second sentiment from the Merry Patterns – this is just the fill-in portion of the large sentiment – in Real Red. Then I added a few Lemon Lime Twist pine boughs – also from Merry Patterns. Using my Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Marker, I filled in all but the berries in the sentiment.
I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Lemon Lime Twist mat and into my Real Red card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another set of Merry Patterns candles on the front…
…and some more pine boughs and Quilted Christmas DSP on the back and the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I hope that y’all already have this wonderful Merry Patterns stamp set – or are busily making plans to get it before it’s gone! If you want it – let me know. We’ll figure out how to make that happen! Hope you like! 🙂
