Stampin’ Up! Window Shopping for All Things Thanks Sneak Peek

Happy Friday, y’all! Hope you’re getting ready for Christmas.  My preparations have been….slower…than I need them to be.  For no more momentous reason than sheer procastination!  But, I woke up at 3 on Thursday morning, stressing over all the “need-to-do’s” on my list.  I finally got up.  Not to do any of the things on the list – just to quit trying to sleep.

But – I did do a couple of those “need-to-do’s”, so at least I’ve started to whittle the list.

Finn had a big day.  He finally found….Buck’s old orthopedic bed.  Not sure why it’s taken him so long – maybe because he always saw the cats piled up on it – but today.  Today he found it!

Finally!  A bed big enough for him to just lay flat as a flitter.  It’s pretty obvious he likes it, huh?  Ahhhhhh….

I think I’ve done as many Christmas cards as I need to do this year, don’t you?  If you still want or need more Christmas ideas – tell me in a comment, and I’ll do some more.  Otherwise, I think I’ll move on!

Which I did for today’s clean-and-simple Sneak Peek of the Window Shopping bundle and the All Things Thanks stamp set.  Take a look-see:

This layout comes from the Global Design Project challenge:

And my color scheme came from the Hand Stamped Sentiment challenge:

For those of you who thought my card from yesterday’s Blog Hop was complicated – this one is exactly the opposite!  It’s easy peasy!  Or…it will be once the Occasions catalog goes live! (Don’t you wish you were a demonstrator and could have already gotten these goodies for yourself?! 😉 )

I started with a piece of Elegant Eggplant card stock and I ran it thru the the Big Shot in the new and beautiful Falling Petals TIEF.  I decided to use the de-bossed side for my card front.

Then I took the hexagonal die in the Window Box Thinlits, cut the panel and SNAILd it over a Bermuda Bay card stock mat.

I used some Whisper White Thick Baker’s Twine to wrap around the panel, securing it in the back with scotch tape.

The sentiment, from All Things Thanks, is stamped in Pear Pizzazz on a strip of Whisper White.  Then I rounded all the corners with the Envelope Punch Board corner rounder.

I flicked the edges of the sentiment tag with a Pear Pizzazz sponge and then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to a pop it on the card front.  I tied a little bow with the Whisper White Thick Baker’s Twine and adhered it with a dab of Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.  The final touch was a Silver star Metallic Enamel Shape.

On the inside, I used the little flower image from the Window Shopping stamp set.  I inked the stamp with my Elegant Eggplant, Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers.

I SNAILd the panel to a Bermuda Bay mat and into a Pear Pizzazz card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals, and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got a veritable garden of little Window Shopping flowers…

…and more on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I’m already loving the beautiful Window Box Thinlits – the intricate designs are wonderful.  And I think that the thank-you sentiments in All Things Thanks are going to be perfect for any thank you card you might need (this one might go to the very next person who decides to join my team!).  Hope you like!
