Stampin’ Up! Hello December 2016 Card Making Project

Good morning!  It’s back to reality for us today – where “reality” means “work”!  World Card Making Day and OnStage Local were so much fun – it was easy to lose track of the real world!  We, the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from Amy’s Inkin’ Krew, had the bestest time ever!

Now – this is my first post of the day.  And it’s going to be quick!  Cuz….later today, I’ll be posting some pictures from OnStage.  Where “OnStage” means “sneak peeks of the 2017 Occasions Catalog.  Won’t be a lot of chatting.  Just a lot of pictures – so…be sure to come back, okay?

The last thing to share in this post is a few pictures of what we made at the World Card Making Day event on Friday.  These cute little tags and notecards used the Project Life Hello December 2016 Accessory Pack.  Check it out right here in my Online Store.

This project was a bit of a revelation for me – I’d not really considered the things besides memory keeping that could be done with the Accessory Packs from Project Life.

These little tags are made with Whisper White and Crumb Cake Notecards and Envelopes.  Cut the cards in half the long way and round the corners with the Project Life Corner Rounder.  Then we cut tiny “mats”….

…and “strips” – using the matching envelopes (that we didn’t need to be “envelopes” cuz…waaaay too big!)…

…and added goodies from the Accessory Pack!

The pack even includes a teensy-weensy-tiny-little-bitty stamp set!

But – we used the wonderful Tin of Tags stamp set for these tags!  With Real Red ink.

We also made a few full sized note cards.

This is far from all of the notecards and tags we made – and we’ve still got goodies leftover from the Accessory Pack!

If you haven’t tried using Project Life Accessory Packs to make cards…give it a go!  They’ll definitely be on my list from here on out!

The stitched embossing is approximately 1/16” from the edge of the cutout. So the dimensions are approximately 1/8” smaller than the cutouts.
