Stampin’ Up! Happy 4th and Some Blog Candy!

images
So….I made a card for today.  A “Christmas in July” themed card.

Got it all done.

Took pictures.

Started to get the pictures ready for blogging.

And decided I didn’t like it.  Not even a little.

Okay – well.  Maybe a little tiny bit.

But I got carried away with the Silver Dazzling Details.  Trying to make “snow”.  And I ran out of day to change it up!

Sooooooo – I decided I wouldn’t waste your Holiday day telling you how to make a card I’m just not that happy with.

Instead – I opted to skip straight to the Blog Candy! 🙂

I know you’re crushed, but I’ll have a card for tomorrow.  One whose face I can show to the blog-i-shere! And who doesn’t like a little blog candy? That’s kind of like Christmas in July anyway.

Here’s what’s up for grabs.

July 4th Blog Candy
Couple of stamp sets:  Flowering Fields and The Sky is the Limit.  FIVE Textured Impressions Embossing Folders:  Tiny Triangles, ZigZag, Honeycomb, Mosaic Madness and Boughs & Berries.  And a packet of Home for Christmas Enamel Dots.  Christmas isn’t that far off, as the crow flies, and you’re going to want some fun Christmas-y embellishments!

How to win?  Well, leave a comment on THIS post before 8pm eastern time this Friday (8 July).  In your comment, tell me what new 2016-2017 Stampin’ Up! goody is your favorite.  You’ve had some time to play with the new products, so let me know what you’re loving the most!

I’ve got comment moderation turned on, so it may take me a few minutes to see and approve your comment.  Don’t worry if your comment doesn’t show up right away, it’ll be there just as soon as I see it. 🙂

One lucky winner will be chosen by the random number generator from all of the comments received and I’ll announce the winner on Saturday, 9 July.

Please note, anyone is welcome to leave me a comment but per the Demonstrator rules from Stampin’ Up!, I’m only able to ship Stampin’ Up! merchandise to addresses within the United States.  Thanks for your understanding.  Good luck!!:)

Happy 4th of July!  Enjoy your day and I’ll be back tomorrow! 🙂

TTFN

Mary

My favorite new SU product is actually two that work together beautifully; the Irresistibly Floral DSP and the sponge brayers. I love how you can get an ombre effect or watercolor look on the paper with the brayers. I love that the DSP is 12×12, giving me a lot of material to use. It is a lovely product.

    • Oh yes – those do go very well together! I love the floral designs on this season’s emboss resist papers! Thanks, Holly! 🙂

  2. Mom

Happy July 4! I, for one, am happy to let Christmas be in December where it belongs,. So…remembering with all y’all, that freedom is not free, and that many have sacrificed that we might enjoy it.

Mary I just LOVE your blog. I look forward every day to your daily updates and your cards. Even my daughter was laughing about duck duck. So far my favorite new items are the new in colors and Bella and Friends stamp set. I just love that little puppy and I love all the new colors. I’ve been having a lot of fun playing around with both. Thanks for your great blog and a chance to win! Happy 4th!

    • Well, I’d planned to do Blog Candy. But in ADDITION to a card, not INSTEAD of a card! But…it is what it is, huh? I, too, love those little jars!! Thanks, Patricia! 🙂
