We’re taking another break from our regularly scheduled programming – All 2015 Holiday Catalog All The Time – to take a quick look at a card CASEd from the new Annual Catalog. This is a kid’s birthday card, using the new and quite roaaaaaaar-worthy stamp set called No Bones About It! And your little dude is going to love it – even if he (or she!) isn’t on a Dinosaur kick! Take a look-see:
This card goes together lickety-split! The No Bones About It set is photopolymer and has lots of options for creating dinosaurs that will delight any kid (no matter how old the “kid” is!). It starts with a panel of Whisper White Card stock, onto which I stamped the T-rex skeleton in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. The sentiment was next and then I gave him a Tangelo Twist party hat from the same set – no Stamp-a-Ma-Jig required!
I “walked” the dino across the bottom of the panel, and then stuck on a couple of pieces of the 2014-2016 In Color Washi Tape for another pop of color.
Then I took a 1/2″ Circle Punch and – only putting the card panel about half way into the punch – made the little half-circle cutouts at the top of the card. Easy way to add some “different”, yes? 🙂 I wrapped some Basic Black Baker’s Twine around the panel and tied it off with a bow. With that, the art work was done, so I popped it onto a piece of Everyday Chic DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then SNAILd the card front to a Whisper White Note Card.
The inside is blank except for a trail of Tuxedo Black dino footsteps (clawsteps??) marching across the bottom…..
I also added some clawsteps across the matching Whisper White Envelope. Just cause I could! 🙂
Et Volia! An easy-peasy quick-and-easy dino-rrific birthday card for the kid in your life! And there are so many ways to use the No Bones About It set – you’re going to love it! Take a gander at some of the other ideas for dinosaury-goodness…..

Speaking of the Holiday Catalog, I spent yesterday getting the Holiday Shares all divided up and packaged to go out in the mail. Wow! What a great bunch of wondrous goodies are in this new catalog! The divvy-ing gives me the opportunity to touch and examine everything. One of my new faves is the Red Foil!! Yikes, this stuff is gorgeous! Shiny and heavy-weight and Real Red. Just going to be a wonderful ingredient in cards-to-come. I can’t WAIT to use it!
