Stampin’ Up! Plentiful Plants Bloom for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is For the Men/Boys!  We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

So…the card I made is…a little more gender-non-specific than strictly masculine.  But – I saw a commercial that stated….”there is power in plants”.  And the planters were being held by a man.  Which means that my card bursting with Plentiful Plants images, Perfect Plants die cuts and Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP is…perfectly masculine.  And seriously powerful! 😂 Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the sketch side of the current FUSION challenge.

I started with a piece of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP that I matted on Cinnamon Cider for the card front.

Next up, I used a cool new Paper Lattice, that I snipped down to size and adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using dies in the Perfect Plants Die set – I cut a few leaves and a pot from the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP.  And – cuz I could and also cuz I wanted to – I fussy cut the larger image – with the light gray pot.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the fussy cut pot and plant to the card front – then added the other two leaves and the individual pot.

I adhered a length of Early Espresso 3/8″ Faux Suede Trim with some Stampin’ Seal +.  Over that is some of the new Just Jade and Gold 3/8″ Braided Ribbon – with the ends frayed just a bit.

On another piece of Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP, I stamped the sentiment from Plentiful Plants in Cinnamon Cider ink.  Then I added it to the card front and it was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Plentiful Plants in Cinnamon Cider on a piece of Basic White cardstock.  In the corner, I stamped the pot in Evening Evergreen and the leaves in Garden Green.  I used my Cinnamon Cider Stampin’ Write Marker to add a little “ground” under the pot.  Cuz…you know.  Pots can’t actually float! 😉

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cinnamon Cider mat and into my Just Jade card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got a repeat of the Plentiful Plants planter on the front…

…and more of the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  So…what do you think?  Will it pass as a masculine card?  I mean…I think so and would happily give it to any of the men in my life (well….any man but Finn – THAT wouldn’t end well! ), but…wondering what YOU think!?  Regardless – I LOVE this new Plentiful Plants Bundle and the gorgeous Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP!

I hope you like!
