Stampin’ Up! Eastern Beauty Makes Me Smile!

Mornin’ everyone!  How goes your weekend?  We here in GA are officially in “summer” mode.  At least for the foreseeable future.  A/C on.  Sweatin’ just riding on the golf cart.  You know…The sucky time of year in GA.

Tonight, if you’ll join me on my Facebook Live video at 8pm eastern, we’re going to take a closer look at the Eastern Palace suite and the bundles that you’re going to be able to order on Monday!  And I’ll show you how to make today’s clean-and-simple card – you can do it with the goodies in the bundles.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge this week.

I showed how to make this card on my Facebook page on Sunday night’s live video!  If you missed it – here’s your chance to watch!  I also show how versatile the Eastern Medallions Thinlits are and talk about the new bundles.

Finn-Fan Fix…

Finn helped me plant my veggies yesterday.

Well – “help” may be a little strong. 😉😏

He sniffed the grass, checked out the bugs, watched for errant squirrels, took a short nap.

I got the veggies in…

Eight Ancho Magnifico chile plants and 4 different tomatoes!  I just love how the garden looks right after the new plants are put in, don’t you?

Afterwards, being Saturday, Finn and I had a little snuggle.

Yea.  He still thinks he’s a 5 month old puppy.  I guess he can’t tell that he barely fits on my lap anymore!

And in case you can’t see it – I’m holding his Prime Rib bone in my right hand while he chews it.  Appears that it’s just better if someone holds it for you!

Spoiled much??

  1. I used to live for Bonanza and Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights. Now, I live for Mary live on Facebook! Have a great day and see you tonight. May 1 is tomorrow…woo hoo…the day a lot of us have been waiting for and it’s also May day. Didn’t make any baskets this year as my only friend here who knew about it has passed on to greater glory. Did you celebrate May day when you were a kid?

    • Yes and we put baskets on our neighbors’ doors!! Wow – that’s a blast from the past! Looking forward to “chatting” tonight, Karen!! Thanks so much! 🙂

  2. Wonderful take on the sketch!

  3. What a pretty card Mary! Love the clean design and the touch of gold is perfect. Hope that I can join you tonight! 🙂

    • Thanks much, Amy! I struggled a little keeping the rest of the card front plain. But I like how it turned out! Hope to see you tonight! 😊

I love your card! I will try to tune in tonight – but I’ll be a little late😕 If only Finn had thumbs – chewing bones would be so much easier😉 I LOVE your “high rise” garden! I have a 6’x12′ raised bed, but it isn’t planted yet – weather in Ohio you know – our heat comes on at night and the AC during the day! Have a GREAT Sunday!

Another beauty. Love the simplicity. Will try to catch you tonight, if I get home in time! If not, will watch later, but it is much more fun when it is ‘live’. (I ordered the stamps and dies) 🙂

    • Hope to see you, Julie! And…I knew you’d give in an order it. You’re going to enjoy it a lot, I know! Thanks much! 😊😊

    Nice card.
    Great garden shot.
    Lapful of lovin’.
Snowy cold May 1 here. I yike it!

  7. Mary, your card is perfect for the sketch! And, it’s a beauty, too. Love the CAS look, it is hard for me to achieve most times, I want to add too much! See you hopefully tonight!

    • I know. I hemmed and hawed about adding this or that. Finally just forced myself to quit! Thanks much, Jari! See you tonight if you’re able! 😊
