Stampin’ UP! Winter Dreams Rejoice Sneak Peek Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table.  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

We’ve got a lovely new Christmas stamp set getting ready to go live in the Sept-Dec 2026 Catalog – it’s simply called Rejoice and it’s beautiful!  I used it – and some new Winter Dreams Specialty DSP (coming on 1 Sept in the Online Exclusives) to make a simple, monochromatic Christmas card.  Take a look-see:

And – here’s our sketch!

And – I also pulled some elements from the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge. I went down the middle column – coordinated enveloped – gems – Monochromatic.

I started by using the largest petal-edged die from the new Tile Garden die set (available in the new catalog on 1 Sept) to cut out a Secret Sea square.  I embossed it in the Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder.

Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the embossed square to the front of my Secret Sea card base.

I cut a 2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of new Winter Dreams Specialty DSP – a new Online Exclusive coming on 1 Sept) – and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Rejoice nativity, the “Bethlehem” image and the stars image (several times!) in Secret Sea ink.

Using the largest dot-dash edge Tile Garden die to cut out the image and adhered it to the card front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a piece of Secret Sea cardstock, I stamped a Rejoice sentiment and the large star in Versamark Ink.  I sprinkled both images with white Basics WOW! Embossing Powder and heat set it with my Heat Tool.

Using the Three Banner Punch – I cut out the sentiment and adhered it with Liquid Glue and a Black Stampin’ Dimensional.

I used Detail Scissors to cut out the star and adhered it to the card front with a Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some small Rhinestone Basic Jewels here and there in the “sky” and a large Rhinestone in the center of the large, embossed star – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Rejoice sentiment in Secret Sea ink on a Basic White panel.  In the corner, I stamped the Bethlehem and stars images and then added the large star by the sentiment, too.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Secret Sea card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Rejoice Bethlehem and stars images on the front…

…and more of the Winter Dreams DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The Rejoice stamp set is unabashedly Christ-centered and is simply gorgeous!  Use it simply – like I’ve done here – or make it as colorful and beautiful as you like!  The Winter Dreams Specialty DSP is all Secret Sea and white flocking – in three pretty designs!  And – tell me that Tile Garden is going to be the first thing in your cart on the first.  Never mind – I know it will be.  It.  Is.  AMAZING!

I hope you like – and have already added these to your 1 Sept gotta-get-it list!!
