(7 Jun) Stampin’ UP! Framed Violet Dreams Sneak Peek Thank You with Video

Good morning – happy Sunday!  Well – it’s our last day – we hit British Columbia this evening – and will take a trip to the gorgeous Butchart Gardens – at night!  I don’t actually think it’ll be dark – it stays light later up this way – but…it WILL be nice and cool!  Then – time to pack and be ready to do the dreaded DIS-embark tomorrow! 🫤

Today I have another little sneak peek from the new July Online Exclusives – available on 1 July!  This is from the Violet Dreams suite – with Violet Dreams DSP, the Framed Violets bundle and some pretty new Adhesive Backed Blooms embellishments.  It all makes for a so-pretty thank you card.  Take a look-see:

I started this one by using the plain oval die in the new Framed Violets set to cut from the middle of a 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ piece of new Violet Dreams DSP.  Then I matted the full panel to a Gorgeous Grape cardstock to make the card front.

I stamped the stem/leaves image from the Framed Violets set three times in Peaceful Pine ink on the die cut DSP oval.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the scalloped oval image from the Framed Violets set in Gorgeous Grape ink and cut it out with the coordinating die in the set.

I matted the DSP oval on the stamped & die cut oval using Liquid Glue and then adhered it over the oval “hole” in the card front using more Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the pretty Framed Violets floral image in Peaceful Pine ink.  I colored the flowers with my Hydrangea Hue Stampin’ Blends and the stem/leaves with the Peaceful Pine Blends.  Then I cut it out with the coordinating die in the set.

Using the dies in the set, I cut out two small leaves from Peaceful Pine 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Specialty Paper and two flowers from Hydrangea Hue cardstock.

I adhered the larger floral to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals – keeping the Dimensionals towards the center of the die cut.

Then I slid the leaves and flowers underneath, securing them with Liquid Glue.

On a 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ piece o f Basic White cardstock, I stamped a Framed Violets sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink.

Then I cut a banner into one end of a 5/8″ x 2 7/8″ piece of Violet Dreams DSP and adhered the sentiment to it with Liquid Glue – with the straight ends aligned and the banner on the left side!  Then I adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added three new Adhesive Backed Blooms (part of this suite and available with it on 1 July!) and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a pretty floral from the Framed Violets set in Peaceful Pine in the corner of a Basic White panel.  I colored it with the Hydrangea Hue and Peaceful Pine Stampin’ Blends and added another Adhesive Backed Bloom (this one in white!).

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my Thick Basic White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Framed Violets floral on the front…

…and more of the Violet Dreams DSP on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  Well – these are probably going to be my favorite new things in the July Online Exclusives!  This Floral Dreams suite is just gorgeous – the paper is stunning and the coordinating Framed Violets bundle really brings it all home.  And I love the pretty Adhesive Backed Blooms, too!
