Good morning, y’all! It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table. I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!
Now – I don’t know about y’all but…it’s hot as a griddle here in GA – and it’s got me longing for FALL. I know. Already?!!? Yes. Fall is one of my fave times of year so…I was all over the new Scenic Pumpkin Patch stamp set – which will be available to you on 3 July in the new Online Exclusives. And – along with it – I pulled out what is becoming a Go-To pack of paper – the NEW Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ DSP (ALSO coming on 3 July!) and the Simply Said sentiment-set (available right now!) to make an autumnal Hello card! Take a look-see:

And here’s our sketch!
I started by adhering some new Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ DSP – LOVE IT! – on a Mossy Meadow mat for the card front.
Next, I used the third-from-smallest Deckled Rectangle die to cut out a piece of the DSP with Pecan Pie plaid on it, which I then adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I cut out the largest square Stylish Shapes die from Basic White and then built my Scenic Pumpkin Patch scene.
– I stamped the trees image three times in Pecan Pie ink.
– I added the leaves to the trees using the included image – in Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and stamped-off-once Cajun Craze inks.
– Below the trees, I stamped the five-small-pumpkin image a couple of times in stamped-off-once Crushed Curry.
– Below those, I stamped the image again in full-strength Crushed Curry.
– Then I added the five-larger-pumpkin image a couple of times in Pumpkin Pie ink.
– I finished the patch with a couple of the three-large-pumpkin images in Cajun Craze.
– Each of the three pumpkin images in the set has a corresponding STEM/LEAF image and I used them to add Mossy Meadow tops to all the pumpkins. Note – for the stamped-off-once Crushed Curry pumpkins, I used stamped-off-once Mossy Meadow. All the rest are full-strength ink.
I adhered the panel to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Using the label die in the Stylish Shapes die set, I cut out a banner from a third design in Iconic Celebrations. I snipped it in half and used Liquid Glue to adhere both ends to the card front – separating them to make the label longer.
I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Simply Said sentiment in Cajun Craze ink. I matted the sentiment in Mossy Meadow cardstock – and adhered it with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added some Pecan Pie gems from the new Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-backed Dots (ALSO coming on 3 July in the Online Exclusives) and the card front was done!
For the inside, I stamped some trees in Pecan Pie, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie and stamped-off-once Cajun Craze in the corner of a Basic White panel. I added some Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie pumpkins and their Mossy Meadow leaves, too.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Crushed Curry card base and the card was done.
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Scenic Pumpkin Patch trees and some Pumpkin Pie pumpkins on the front…
…and more of the plaid Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila and also OH MY GOODNESS! I LOVE this Scenic Pumpkin Patch set – the pumpkins stamp SO beautifully and they’re adorable! I love the trees, too! It’s really Fall-on-a-Card!! And – aren’t you SO ready to grab a pack (or five!) of the wunnermus Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ DSP?! Wowza!! Oh – don’t forget a sentiment set to go along with – the Simply Said set is PERFECT!
