Good morning and happy Sunday! Hope your weekend is going well. We’re back to chilly again – and rainy! So…we DID get the seed starting stuff moved into the new well house but…the rain sort of put a damper on my excitement to start sowing! Maybe…today! 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Speaking of blooming…okay – it’s a LOOSE association but…work with me on this! We’re just a few short days away from the 1st of March, which is when you can get the new goodies that will be available exclusively online. You can call them…Online Exclusives. We do!! 🤔🤔 I dunno what ELSE will be there (I get to find out on the 1st, too!) but..I’m betting it’ll all be just as pretty as the Irresistible Blooms bundle, Hello Irresistible DSP AND the Basics 3D Embossing Folders – which I used on today’s pretty card! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one was inspired by the sketch over at the Global Design Project this week.
I started by adhering a piece of the Hello Irresistible DSP onto the front of a Flirty Flamingo card base using Liquid Glue.
Using the next-to-largest Stitched Rectangle die, I cut out a piece of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the splatters image from Irresistible Blooms in Soft Sea Foam a few times on the panel. Then I embossed it in the flower-y folder from the new Basics 3D Embossing Folder – it’s the one on the left!
I adhered the embossed panel to the card front with Liquid Glue.
Using the next-to-largest Stylish Shapes circle die, I cut a piece of plaid paper from the Hello Irresistible DSP and adhered it with Liquid Glue.
Other than being stinkin’ GORGEOUS – the new Irresistible Blooms DSP ALSO lets us cut out its beautiful flowers and leaves using the Irresistible Blooms Dies!
I cut out four sets of leaves – two three-leaf and two two-leaf – and then two large and one small flower.
I adhered the blooms with Liquid Glue, layering the leaves in amongst the blooms!
When I ran out of flowers and stuff, I tied a double-loop Linen Thread bow and adhered it with a little Liquid Glue.
On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the Irresistible Blooms sentiment in Flirty Flamingo and cut it out with the banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies (y’all – these dies are on LOW INVENTORY!! If you do NOT have them yet – stop reading right now and go get them!! Here’s a link!!).
I used double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment over the bow.
And finally – using little dabs of Liquid Glue, I adhered a bevy of the new and gorgeous Loose Frosted Dots (ALSO in the Online Exclusives coming on 1 March). Now – this is a little persnickety – DO use the putty end of your Take Your Pick Tool! – but…they are SO pretty and SO worth the time! I mean…IMHO!!
For the inside, I cut the largest Stitched Rectangle die from some Basic White cardstock. In the corner, I stamped the large flower from Irrestistible Blooms in Flirty Flamingo and added a couple of small leaves in Soft Sea Foam.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Flirty Flamingo card base and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Irresistible Blooms flower and leaves on the front…
… and another piece of the Hello Irresistible DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I know – this is so pretty! I mean – it’s hard NOT to make a pretty card using these new Online Exclusive products! I’m loving the Irresistible Blooms bundle and the truly stunning Hello Irresistible DSP and I know you will, too! AND – I can’t wait to see what ELSE is coming on 1 March!! 🙂
