Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with today and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

When I saw this sketch – I remembered the cool wildflower dies in the new Meadow Die Set – which is coming to you on 4 May, bundled with the lovely new Quiet Meadow stamp set – and knew it would be perfect for this sketch.  Take a look-see:

And here’s our sketch!

I used the colors from The Paper Player challenge, too.

I started with a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock that I embossed in the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder and adhered to a Merry Merlot mat with Liquid Glue to create the card front.

Next, I used the largest of the circle Stitched Shapes Dies to cut a Crumb Cake circle.  Y’all – this amazing die set is retiring – so…get it NOW if you don’t have it already! 🙂

I stamped the Quiet Meadow wildflower image onto the Stitched Shape circle.  Over it – I stamped the cool script image twice in Crumb Cake.  Then I adhered the circle to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using one of the…many!…dies in the Meadow die set…

…I cut one from Vellum cardstock and one from Crumb Cake cardstock.  I embossed the Crumb Cake die cut in the Old World 3D Embossing Folder.  Then I adhered both flowers to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I tied a Linen Thread double-loop bow and added it with a Glue Dot.

The sentiment, from Quiet Meadow, is stamped in Merry Merlot on Very Vanilla and cut with the label die in the Meadow set.  I used the same die to cut a Misty Moonlight piece from the 2020-2022 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP.  I adhered the two labels together with Liquid Glue, then popped them onto the card front with double-stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used Glue Dots to adhere three of the new Bee Trinkets (these are coming soon in the new catalog!) and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added the Quiet Meadow wildflower and script images in Crumb Cake to a Crumb Cake panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Merry Merlot mat and into my Misty Moonlight card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Quiet Meadow images on the front in Crumb Cake…

…and more of the Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Y’all!!  This Quiet Meadow set – with it’s wunnermus bundled Meadow Dies – is going to be HUGE!!  I mean – the die set creates so many textural florals – it’s crazy!!  Match it with the sentiments and images in Quiet Meadow and…you’ve got a sure-fire winner!

I hope you like!
