Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Gilded Autumn for the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop

Happy Happy Hawwmp Day!!  And welcome to another edition of the Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop.   I hope you’ll sit down and spend a little time with us – regardless of where YOU are in the world! 🙂  I know you’re going to see some awesome projects!

Like most hops, we have a theme each month – and this month’s is “Market – All About Texture”!   Which means – well….it’s pretty open-ended!  I went with Fall colors – leaves from the Beautiful Autumn Bundle – and “houndstooth” from Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP and textured panels!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch challenge.

And the color palette is courtesy of the Sunday Stamps challenge.

I matted a piece of houndstooth paper from the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP on a piece of Bumble Bee cardstock for the card front.

Next, I embossed a strip of Very Vanilla and embossed it in one of the Wrapped in Texture embossing folders, matted it on Bumble Bee and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On another piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the little maple leaf from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set four times in Early Espresso.  Using my Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler Blends – I colored the leaves and then punched them with their punch from the bundled Autumn Punch Pack.

I stamped Thank You – from Beautiful Autumn – in Cherry Cobbler on a Very Vanilla strip that I’d punched banner ends into with my Banners Pick a Punch.

I tied a double loop Linen Thread bow and then spaced it and the four leaves down the Very Vanilla panel.

I adhered the bow with a Glue Dot and the leaves with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Finally – I used double-stacked Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment banner over the bow.

A Pumpkin Pie gem from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic jewels finished off the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the maple leaf three times across the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel and colored them with my Blends as I’d done for the front.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Bumble Bee mat and into my Cherry Cobbler card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got more Beautiful Autumn leaves on the front…

…and a little more houndstooth Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  The sentiments in this Beautiful Autumn set are wonderful – with gorgeous fonts!  And, I love these diminutive leaves – and I love even MORE that they all have a matching PUNCH!!

I hope you like!
