Good mornin’, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew team blog hop! Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month we’re doing projects with a Birthday vibe! We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!
I pulled out the new Darling Label Punch Box – which comes with a beautifully decorated tin storage box and includes the Darling Label stamp set; a clear stamp block; Grapefruit Grove and Night of Navy Classic Stampin’ Spots; the Darling Label Punch; and the 8″ x 8″ x 3″ tin. All you need to add is adhesives and card stock!
To those goodies, I pulled out the Time for Tea stamp set and the coordinating Tea Room Memories & More Card Pack. Take a look-see:
My layout is from the Fab Friday sketch challenge.
I started the card with one of the pretty Memories & More cards, matted on Basic Black for the card front.
I built my collage starting with a Coastal Cabana Colored Doily, adhering it with Liquid Glue. Then there’s a length of new Very Vanilla 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and a strip of Basic Black card stock – both adhered with Liquid Glue.
I inked the Darling Label birthday sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamped it on Very Vanilla – then punched it with the matching Darling Label Punch. I added a few little “stitches” with my Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Write Marker. I also punched a Basic Black label.
I used some Glue Dots to wind a few loops of Silver & Pool Party Silver Twine around. Then I added a couple of butterflies and flowers (these are stickers in the Tea Room Card Pack!) – the butterfly and Rich Razzleberry Flower are popped on with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
I added the stamped sentiment to the Basic Black punched shape with a couple of Dimensionals – then popped the whole thing over the twine with more Stampin’ Dimensionals. To finish it off, I added a few Soft Sea Foam Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins – and that was it for the card front!
On the inside, I used the two-step flower image from the new Time For Tea stamp set. First I stamped the outline image in Coastal Cabana. Then I inked the fill-step with Coastal Cabana, stamped it off once (the new ink works REALLY well for this!) and then stamped it over the outline. In the corner, I added the little corner doodle in Coastal Cabana.
I matted the panel on Basic Black with Liquid Glue, then adhered it into my Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got more Time for Tea flowers and doodles on the front…
…and I used another of the Tea Room Memories & More Card Pack cards on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! The Darling Label Punch Box set is really cool – and it’s the only way to get the Darling Label stamp set and Punch. And – don’t forget that Memories & More Card Packs are super for making cards – not just for Memory Keeping! I love the Time For Tea set and the Tea Room Cards are lovely. Hope you like!

Love your card and I’ve got my eye on that punch and all that goes with it.
Yep – the Darling Label Punch Box is really cool! Thanks, Karen! 🙂
Beautiful card Mary, as always. Hope you are feeling better and the itch is gone.
The itch is fading – and no one has turned to stone seeing my hives on my arms, so…getting better! Thanks much, Shirley! 🙂
Oh my goodness, so pretty Mary! Your layering and design is just perfect. The little butterfly and flowers around your sentiment are so sweet. 🙂
Thanks, Amy! 🙂
Mary, how you manage to design such a stunning card in your hotel craft space is beyond me! You are so talented. Hope you are feeling good today. – Ellie
Thanks, Ellie – I appreciate it! Trying to get back in the swing! 🙂

Pretty card…conveys “coolness” on a hot day.
Thanks, Mom! 🙂
Very soft, delicate and pretty card Mary! Got my paper share yesterday, thanks Mary! The envelope sure took a beating but everything inside was in perfect shape! Hope your feeling better Mary! Have a good evening. 🙂
Oh goodness! I’m so glad all was okay on the INSIDE! My boxes arrived to me here in CA in the same manner. Grrrr! 🙁 But – at least your paper et al was okay. Hope you have fun with it, Kathy! Thanks very much! 🙂
I love all fun elements you have on your card! It’s great to see the Darling Label punch in action! I like how you layered it with the doily and used so many non-stamp products to create a lovely card. Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
Thank you so much, Amanda! Appreciate you stopping by! 🙂
