Stampin’ Up! Hand Delivered and Shared With Love Sneak Peek!

Happy Friday, my peeps!  Guess what’s coming today!  To my house!  The Big Brown Truck!

And guess what the man in the brown shorts is bringing?  Yep – my Pre-Order (okay – my SECOND pre-order!!).  I.  Can.  Hardly.  Wait!

Expect to see some projects soon with even more new goodies!

Today is no exception – the stamp set I’m using today is one of the cool Host-Exclusive stamp sets in the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  It’s called Hand Delivered.  I used a few sentiments and flowers from it – and added more of the Share What You Love suite of goodies.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge.

I also played along with the tic-tac-toe challenge at The Paper Players!  This one works across the top row AND down the left column!

Finally – I think it’s pretty feminine, so…playing along with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge!

I started with a piece of gorgeous Share What You Love Specialty DSP and matted it with Liquid Glue on a So Saffron panel for the card front.

Next up is a banner of So Saffron, cut with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

For the art, I first cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and embossed it in the Layered Leaves Dynamic TIEF.  Then I cut it down to its final size and cut a 2 3/8″ circle in the middle with a Stitched Shapes Framelits die.

I cut out the yellow flower from another piece of the Share What You Love DSP – making the panel large enough to fit behind the circle die cut.  Then I adhered it to a So Saffron mat with Liquid Glue.

I used regular and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the embossed panel over the mat and then I used Liquid Glue to adhere the whole thing to the card front.

The sentiment, from Hand Delivered (host-exclusive set in the new catalog), is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a strip of Vellum card stock. I snipped a banner end with my Paper Snips and adhered it with a Glue Dot under just the left side of the banner.

I adhered two Petal Passion Embellishment leaves with a Glue Dot then added a pretty silver flower from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit.  A double-loop Billie Moan bow of Linen Thread finished off the decoration.  I added a few So Saffron Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the middle of the large yellow flower and the card front was done!

Or…so I thought.  The un-adorned “expanse” of So Saffron card stock (the banner) was making me itchy!  It was bugging me no end, y’all!  So…I added some faux stitches with my Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write Marker.  And that made the itching stop! 😉

On the inside, I stamped another Hand Delivered sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to a Very Vanilla panel.  Then I added a couple of cute little flowers from the same set and colored them with my So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers.   I figured – what the heck!? – and added some Petal Pink Share What You Love Artisan Pearls, too!

I matted the panel on So Saffron and then adhered it inside my Crumb Cake card base with Liquid Glue, added the card front with Liquid Glue as well, and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got more of the sweet little flowers from the Hand Delivered set in Tuxedo Black on the front.  Then I colored them with So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers…

…and I added more of the Share What You Love Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.  Betcha sorta figured that, huh?? 🙂

Et Voila!  The Hand Delivered stamp set is a fun one – and it’s got quite the range of sentiments in it!  And I know I keep using this gorgeous Share What You Love Specialty DSP.  Sorry.  Can’t help it very much!  Hope you like!

May the Fourth be with you.

Always!

Finn Fan Fix

You know, I’m really so grateful that Finn is “back”.  In many ways I was expecting a deficit.

But – we’ve been pretty blessed.

One thing I sort of did wish he’d come away with was a little wariness around the horses.

I was destined to be disappointed on this one, y’all.

Sigh….

They’re having a meeting of the minds.

His mind: “I.  Am.  Dog.  Do my bidding.”

Her mind:  “Pu-leeeese. ROFL!!!!”
