Stampin’ Up! Spooky Sweet Halloween Sneak Peek Card

Good morning, y’all – hope you had a great weekend and that you’re ready and raring for a great week ahead!  Or – you know, at least ready! 🙂

My card today is another sneak peek of some goodies you’ll be able to pick up when the July Online Exclusives go live for customers on 1 July!  Or – you know..get them NOW if you sign up to join the team. These are Halloween products – I used a few pieces from the new Spooky Sweet Suite!  You’ve got the fun Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP and the coordinating Spooky Halloween bundle. And the cutest embellishments – the Shimmer Star Foam Stickers!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week.

I started by using Liquid Glue to adhere a 3/4″ wide strip of Petunia Pop Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP across a panel of the same paper (this one in black and orange).  I left the strip a little longer than I needed and then used Paper Snips to trim the excess.

Then I adhered the panel to a Pumpkin Pie mat using Liquid Glue.

Using the largest Stylish Shapes circle die, I cut out a third design from the pack and adhered it to the card front with more Liquid Glue.

The new Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP is really fun – and very handy for making quick Halloween cards!  Along with the 2 sheets of 5 double-sided designs – there’s ALSO 2 single-sided sheets with all sorts of precut images!

I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere my card front to a Petunia Pop card base – then I adhered a die cut tree (from the Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP) to the “moon” with Liquid Glue.  You can see I let it “spill” off the top and side of the card front!

Using the die in the Spooky Halloween die set, I cut out a haunted house from the same black Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP that I used on the card front. Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the die cut house to the same Petunia Pop Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP I used for the strip.  Then I cut around the die cut with my Paper Snips.

I adhered the house to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On yet another piece of the Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP, I stamped the Spooky Halloween sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Then I snipped around the sentiment using my Paper Snips and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment to the card front.

I added a die cut bat – from the Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP – with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Then I added four Petunia Pop and three White Shimmer Stars Foam Stickers – I LOVE these! – and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second Spooky Halloween sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Basic White panel.  Then I stamped the stars image twice in Pumpkin Pie ink.  Finally – I added one Petunia Pop Shimmer Stars Foam Sticker (they’re pretty flat so…great for INSIDE your cards, too!).

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of the Petunia Pop card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Spooky Halloween stars on the front…

…and a little more of the Petunia Pop Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  So – Halloween isn’t my fave of all the holidays but…I really really like this Spooky Sweet Suite!  In addition to the Spooky Halloween bundle (how cute is that little die cut haunted house?!), the fun Spooky Sweet Specialty DSP with ITS cute die cuts, and the wunnermus Shimmer Stars Foam Stickers – there’s ALSO some pretty Iridescent Treat Bags and a roll of Petunia Pop 1/4″ Iridescent Ribbon (so pretty!).  It’s a great group of products for all your Halloween projects!

And – I don’t think there’s going to be much – if any! – Halloween-themed products in the Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalog so…if you’re going to be wanting to do Halloween things this year…consider this Suite, okay!?
