Stampin’ Up! Rustic Harvest Two Pumpkins Masculine Hello Card

Good morning, y’all!  Happy Monday from the Happiest Place on Earth!!  When you read this I’ll be…on the treadmill or at the breakfast buffet!!  As I type this on Sunday evening, I confess I can’t tell you which one is on my list for the morning.  That question has to be answered by Morning Mary.  NIGHT Mary says…neither – stay asleep, goofus! 🤷‍♀️

The card I made for you today features a Fall fave – the Hello Harvest stamp set with its pretty and bundled Rustic Pumpkins Dies, with a little Rustic Harvest DSP to set the color stage!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge!

And the color palette is from the Color Throwdown challenge this week.

I started by adhering a piece of Rustic Harvest DSP to a Crushed Curry mat – and then to the front of a Basic Gray card base.

Below the matted square, I stamped the sentiment from Hello Harvest in Merry Merlot ink.

I cut two of the next-to-smallest rectangle die from the Scalloped Contours die set from some Crushed Curry Rustic Harvest DSP.  These are both adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the large pumpkin from Hello Harvest twice in Basic Gray and stamped three of the leaves in Merry Merlot ink.

I colored the pumpkins with my Dark Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends (plus a little light Crumb Cake on the stem) – and cut them with the Rustic Pumpkins die set.  It’s cool that the Cajun Craze doesn’t come across as CAJUN CRAZE – it just added some depth and color to the image.

I cut out the leaves and pumpkins using the coordinating dies in the Rustic Pumpkins die set.  Then I layered them all up – adhering all but the top pumpkin with Liquid Glue.  That final pumpkin is popped on with Stampin’ Dimensionals!

I added some Basic Gray Classic Matte Dots and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Hello Harvest sentiment in Merry Merlot on a Very Vanilla panel.  Over the top, I stamped the leaf in stamped-off-THREE times Merry Merlot!

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Crushed Curry mat and into my Basic Gray card base and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got the Hello Harvest leaf in Merry Merlot on the front…

…and more of the Rustic Harvest DSP on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  It’s really no wonder that this Hello Harvest set – with the bundled Rustic Pumpkins dies! – is a Fan Fall Fave, is it?!  And when we add some Rustic Harvest DSP well – you can almost smell the leaves burning! I love these colors together, too – with the Rustic Harvest DSP adding some simple designs to the mix.

Finn Fan Fix

We made it to DINNEY WORLD!!

The Shades of Green hotel – actually owned by the Army – is a military benefit that…I’ve never had a chance to take advantage of before!

It.  Is.  Beautiful!

It’s going to be wonderful to not have to drive to each park – and to be able to come back to the hotel during the day if we need to chill for a while!

We’d been planning to check out on Thursday and go to a hotel by Universal – but…they were able to extend our reservation so that we don’t have to do that!  Yeah!

Rooms are nice – not fancy, but…quite nice – and our view is serene and quiet!

Hoping for a good sleep in preparation for….Hollywood Studios tomorrow!! Whoo-hoo!!
