Happy Happy Hawwmp Day, my peeps! The week is half over – again!
I pulled out another new suite of goodies to share with you today. This is the Delightfully Detailed Suite – and it includes the Detailed With Love stamp set and the bundled Detailed Trio Punch. There are a few other pieces in the suite – and I used a bunch of them in my card. Take a look-see:
I was rather loosely inspired by the photo at the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge this week – greens, purple/pinks, flowers, grapefruit (color)..
In case you can’t tell – this card is smaller – it’s a 3 1/2″ x 5″ card – folded tent-style. So it fits in one of the little Note Cards & Envelopes envelopes.
I started with a Mint Macaron card panel from the Delightfully Detailed Memories & More Card Pack and cut it down to be my card front – then I used Liquid Glue to adhere it to a Blackberry Bliss mat.
I made the tag with another piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock. I used all of the three punches in the new Detailed Trio Punch on the top – the corner rounder, the sweet little cut-outs and the small hole in the center for the ribbon.
For the flowers, I used a piece of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and snipped a piece with my Paper Snips. I adhered it to the tag using Liquid Glue with the Whisper White side up!
For the sentiment, I stamped the Detailed With Love sentiment in Versamark on a piece of Mint Macaron card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. Then I punched it with the Pretty Label Punch. I used the Detailed Trio Punch to add the little cut-outs in the end.
I stamped the sentiment again in Grapefruit Grove (1 May in the Early Release) on a piece of Whisper White and snipped the words with my Paper Snips. I popped that over the label with a piece of Foam Adhesive Strip.
I ran a length of new 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and a piece of Grapefruit Grove Nature’s Twine (both coming in June) thru the hole at the top of the tag. Then I tied it with a length of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine.
I adhered the tag to the card front with Liquid Glue. Then I snipped one more little flower from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and popped it on with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional. A few Grapefruit Grove Faceted Gems (1 June) finished off the card front.
On the inside, I punched the corners of a Whisper White panel with the Detailed Trio Punch. Then, using my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, I added a second Detailed With Love sentiment Grapefruit Grove ink.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel into a Thick Whisper White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
I added a few Grapefruit Grove images from the Detailed with Love set to the front of my Note Card-sized Whisper White envelope…
…and to the envelope flap.
Et Voila! The Delightfully Detailed Memories & More Card Pack has a lot of fun designs in it – good for scrapbooking AND card making – especially when combined with the Detailed With Love stamp set! Finn Fan Fix
Wayne came home last night – and Finny was oh-so-glad to see him!
There’s rumor there was even a smile! 🙂
I didn’t get to see it – but I DID get to see…
And then today we played with a stick…
And closely – CLOSELY!! – inspected a highly suspicious leaf…
He also is showing signs of interest in a little game to tug – he grabs and carries the leash in his mouth and snatches at the towel when I get done drying him off – it’s rained like a mo here for the past two days (the feathers, skirt and pantaloons….you know).
So – another good day in Finn-land!
