Stampin’ Up! Label Me Pretty Sneak Peek!

Happy Easter, y’all!

Before we get started – let me mention my Sunday night Facebook Live videos.  They’re usually at 8pm Eastern but tonight I’ve got a team meeting at the same time.  So…I’ll be going live at 7pm – that’s an hour earlier…. on my Stamps-N-Lingers Facebook Page.  Here’s a little sneak peek of the….sneak peek we’ll be playing with tonight!! 🙂

Okay – on with the card – I’ll make this one a quickie – cuz I know you’re hunting eggs and basting ham. 🙂

My card for today is a Clean and Simple (CAS) Card – that is quick to put together, thanks to the beautiful Delightful Daisy DSP and the new Label Me Pretty Bundle (which includes the Pretty Label punch!).

Label Me Pretty is another of those stamp sets that you might flip right by in the catalog without giving it much attention.  But I think it deserves some love…  See what happens when you use it.  Take a look-see:

So my card layout is from the Fusion challenge this week – and to some extent so is the floral theme!

And the color scheme is from Fab Friday:

I started with another of the cottage-garden design papers in the Delightful Daisy DSP and SNAILd it to a Peekaboo Peach mat.

Around the card front, I wrapped a piece of Pool Party 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon, securing it in the back with scotch tape.

The next layer is a pretty Night of Navy design, also from Delightful Daisy, SNAILd on Peekaboo Peach and then SNAILd to the card front.  I wrapped a strand of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine over that panel.

For my sentiment, I first stamped the label image from Label Me Pretty (1 June) in Night of Navy on a piece of Whisper White card stock.  Then I used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to position the sentiment image, which I stamped in Calypso Coral.  I punched the sentiment out with the matching (bundled!) Pretty Label Punch.

I popped my label on with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals and then, ever-so-delicately (yes, “delicate” is a term oft associated with me! 😏😎), colored the little flourishes in with my Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I used a second image from the Label Me Pretty set and used the marker-to-rubber technique.  I colored just one side of the label image with my Calypso Coral, Night of Navy and Old Olive Markers, then used my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to stamp the design in all four corners of a Whisper White panel.

I SNAILd the panel to a Peekaboo Peach mat and into my Night of Navy card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got two more of the floral images from Label Me Pretty on the front…

…and gave the envelope flap a little more of the Delightful Daisy DSP.

Et Voila!  See what I mean?  Looks like a regular old label stamp set – but…look how pretty it is!!   I’m so glad that this bundle was in the pre-pre-order!  I hope you like – and that you’ll add it to your wish list! 🙂

Finn-Fan Fix…

We took the Finn-Meister to Tractor Supply yesterday. We went to get feed – horse, dog and cat!  He went to get pettings! 🙂

Not sure he got as many as he wanted, but…a few came his way.  He was a pretty good boy – it’s really hard, though.  Lots of kids and other dogs – and he wants to see and play with all of them!

Afterwards, we stopped to get a little lunch.  Wayne went in to get our food while Finn and I stayed in the van in A/C.

Finn rested – TSC was a little tiring.

See him there in my kid-mirror??  Not sure Honda was thinking about watching a dog in the back seat, but…it’s darned handy, I must say! 🙂

But then I figured I’d get with the selfie-generation…

Aww – aren’t we so cute?!?
