Well – we’re here! And I need to thank y’all once again for helping Wayne and I earn this vacation! I am so grateful to each and every one of you for the support you’ve given me in my business!! Thankyouthankyouthankyou!
When we drove to the airport this morning – we had a good omen, so I got a picture of it!
We got our usual pre-flight picture in the airplane…
And then…there was a LOT of flying – a LOT. And some time getting pre-cleared in Denver for our arrival to Maui – part of the COVID process. Boy – am I glad we did THAT! We got that blue wristband…
And just skipped right thru the airport once we got to Maui!
As we began the descent into the island, I was reminded of how gorgeous flying across the Pacific can be!
And our close-in arrival was pretty spectacular, too!
Then – another good omen!
We finally got to the hotel (resort!!) and it’s just as beautiful as we’d heard!
Our room has got a view I could get SO very accustomed to seeing each and every day! And – with the balcony door open we can listen to the waves as we go to sleep. Heaven!
And in typical Stampin’ Up! fashion – we had pillow gifts!
Wayne and I got a quick pic as we headed down to dinner.
And the evening ended with Hawaii gracing us with a pretty iconic scene…
And then – with our body clocks absolutely totally exhausted, confused and unaware of where we were or WHEN! – we crashed!

Finn Fan Fix
According to our slightly obsessive spying on Finn – he’s starting to settle in. We noticed that he slept on the concrete floor the first night – told you it was a little obsessive – so we realized he was too hot. So – we called from the Denver airport and told them that we thought he was a little too warm in his suite (not hot by other dog standards – but warmer than he likes) and they lowered the temp and turned a fan on for him. And that was all he needed.
Once we got in to the room for the night and checked in – we saw him crashed in typical Finn-fashion.
On his side – back to the wall. Probably snoring. 🙂
