My card today uses the new Love You To Pieces bundle – and this is a fun set indeed! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one hails from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
And the color scheme comes from the Color Throwdown.
I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock and embossed it with the large die in the new Puzzle Pieces Thinlits using the new Big Shot Embossing Mats. I adhered a piece of Grapefruit Grove DSP from the 2018-2020 In Color DSP to a second mat of Pool Party card stock with Liquid Glue, then popped the embossed Whisper White panel over top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I wrapped a piece of Granny Apple Green 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon around the front of a Whisper White card base, securing it with a couple of Glue Dots on the front. Then I popped my embossed and matted square over top with Dimensionals.
I stamped the two puzzle pieces from the Love You To Pieces stamp set – one in Pineapple Punch and one in Grapefruit Grove – on Whisper White, then cut them with their dies in the Puzzle Pieces Thinlits.
The Love You To Pieces sentiment is stamped in Granny Apple Green on a strip of Whisper White with banner ends snipped. I edged the banner with my Pool Party Stampin’ Write Marker.
I adhered the Pineapple Punch puzzle piece to the card front with Liquid Glue, then added the sentiment banner with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added the second puzzle piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals and a little dab of Liquid Glue. And that was it for the card front.
On the inside, I added some Love You To Pieces hearts in Pineapple Punch and Granny Apple Green across the bottom of my Whisper White panel.
I matted the panel on Grapefruit Grove 2018-2020 In Color DSP and Pool Party and then adhered it into the Whisper White card base with Liquid Glue and the card was done!
My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Pineapple Punch and Granny Apple Green hearts across the front…
…and a little more 2018-2010 In Color DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! I love these colors – I think Granny Apple Green is going to be the new Lemon Lime Twist, don’t you? And this fun – and punny! – Love You To Pieces bundle is really going to be a hoot to use! Hope you like!
