Great Nanny, taking his job seriously. Watched the video for this card. Great card, but I don’t have any of the items you used for it. Hmmm..purchase ahead?
LOL – sounds like! Happy shopping! And he iS a great nanny-dog! 🙂
Awesome project. I love the extra flap and sentiment on the front of the main card. The color selection is great. And you even spent extra time decorating the envelope. Your card is a gift of artwork.
Thank you, Donna – I really like that envelope die! 🙂
Love the card! He’s the best farm dog.
He sure is! Thanks, Genie! 🙂
The card kits are really a great value and this one looks like a really good one. All the new in colors are great too. Love Finn.
Awesome card!!
Thanks for playing along this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches
Debbie – TMS DT
Debbie’s Dash of This and That
Thank you, Debbie – appreciate you stopping by! 🙂
Really lovely card! And a sentiment that is made just for me! Thank you for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
Thank you so much, Melissa! 🙂
Very pretty card Mary! Love the layering and the colors! Poor Finn, he’s all in movie star mode and then the paparazzi shows up to distract him. 😉
Right?! You just can’t escape them when you’re an A-lister! Thanks, Amy! 🙂
Wonderful patterned papers and gorgeous colours on your card! Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Thank you, Karren – appreciate you stopping by! 🙂
Such a pretty card! Love the triple time stamping, perfect for the wisteria images! Yep, dad’s always know best how to play. 😉
Yep – two kids at heart! Thank you, Amy! 🙂
Mary, your card turned out just beautiful! The vision and talent is all yours! 🙂 Thanks so much for walking through this technique and sharing all of your knowledge.
Thanks for the fun time yesterday – I really enjoyed that hour with you ladies!! Thanks, Carol! 🙂
Great way to encourage me to use more of my SU DSP! Thanks for the help, Mary. Give Finn an extra pat–he’s so patient having his pictures taken. He really knows how to hold a pose for you!
He does, doesn’t he?!? He’s a STAR!! Thank you, Gail – have fun using that DSP! 🙂
It warms the cockles of my heart when I see you use something that’s retired. I will never part with this punch nor the dog punch. Speaking of dog, Happy Birthday Finn! 7??? that’s unbelievable!! and you?…you’re still a spring chicken! When you get to be my age, then you can start shaking in your boots…lol.
I’m glad your heart-cockles are warmed, Karen! 😂 And I know – it seems like yesterday he was riding home with us! I’ll have to do a special blog post on 17 June!! 🙂 Thanks so much! 🙂
Beautiful card! Love the colors and the design. 🙂 Wow…Ginny turns 7 later this year too. Yikes! I guess that means that we’re getting old! 😉
Guess it does!! Yikes! Thank you, Amy! 🙂
Love your color choices for this beautiful card! Finn is such a cutie!
Thanks so much, Carol. And yes – he’s a master-of-cuteness!! 🙂
Now that your beautiful card has introduced me to Starry Sky I might need it in my stash! You so easily did not one, but two rows on our Tic Tac Toe board and did so in such a masterful way! I love that with your perfectly cut mats you incorporate torn edges as well! And the colors of your flowers, wow, so pretty! SO glad you joined us at Tic Tac Toe this week!!!
Oh – what a sweet thing to say, Carol – thank you so very much!! I love y’all’s Tic-tac-Toe challenges!! 🙂
I hope you got my long comment because I love your card! Thanks for playing with us at Tic Tac Toe this week!
I did – and thank you so much, that was very kind!! I appreciate you coming by, Carol! 🙂
What a handsome guy!! Who would think he was 7? I’ll be he thinks of himself as still a puppy. And you, you’re not getting older, you’re getting better. A number doesn’t mean a thing. It’s what’s in your heart that matters. Happy Birthday!!…..to both of you!
Well thank you, Kathy – I appreciate that! Still got a month at less-than-61 (and less-than-SEVEN!!) – but it’ll fly by!! Appreciate you, my friend! 🙂
Wowzer! This card is beautiful! TFS
Thanks, Tara! 🙂
WOW!!!! This is amazing Mary 🙂 Love! Love! Love it!!
Thank you thank you! 🙂
Beautiful Mary! That stamp is stunning and the palms are perfect! 😊
Thanks, Akiko! 🙂
This is gorgeous!
Thank you, Carol! 🙂
This would make a great video, just sayin’! See you at 1PM to see if you make a scene 😉
Maybe one day! Thank you so much, Karen! 🙂
That’s awesome Mary! Love the layering, perfect sunset image! 🙂
Thanks, Amy! 🙂
This is a beautiful sympathy card – they are always so hard to make and you’ve done a wonderful job. The colors you used are lovely. Thanks for joining us this week at TTTC!
Thank you, Jeanne – and thanks for taking time to come by! 🙂
Mary, this is gorgeous! So vibrant and rich! I love this color combo!!!!! WOW! SO happy you joined us at the TTTC this week!
Thanks so much, Claire – appreciate you stopping by!! 🙂
Wowzers! Perfect use of that stamp and creating a gorgeous scene—outside and inside! Love it! TFS
Thanks, Susan! 🙂
I do not have this background stamp and love what you did with it… Inspired to get it!
Thanks, TL – it’s fun! 🙂
GORGEOUS!! Love your scene, and I guess it could be Maui, or some other tropical island. Love the way you used the Rays of Light to create your scene. I saw that stamp in the catty, and dismissed it as one I would never use. HMMMM! May have to re-think that.
Right? It’s a sleeper! And it’s for sure Maui! 😉 Thanks, Julie! 🙂
Wow! Love the card front with the layers and blended colors. And I like the effect you did on the inside just as much! Great card
Thanks so much, Sue! 🙂
Such fun cards! Love the colors and the design is perfect! Canned pumpkin…not so yummy…pumpkin pie, I’m all over that!! 🙂
Well – I sort of feel the same way! But…HE likes it so….🤷♀️🤷♀️ Thanks, Amy! 🙂
Love this playful card! I was able to watch the replay of your live video for this card…you all crack me up! 🙂
Glad you had fun, Carol – I wish we could do it as a Zoom so we could all “be together’! Thanks! 🙂
This card is just too cute Mary 🙂 Love the slimline and your design. Sorry I keep missing your Thursday video, work keeps getting in the way.
Darned work! 🙁 Thanks, Karen! 🙂
Love your fun slimline card! Those little swimsuits make me smile! Love that masking inside and outside! Great take on the sketch too! TFS. Guess pumpkin a-la-mode makes Finny think of a sweet pie a-la-mode…dessert with the main course!
Yep – life is short – eat dessert first! Thank you, Susan! 🙂
Love this card idea but is a new technique for me. Did you use rectangle dies to cut out the different sections? Thank you for sharing your creativity.
Hey Kay – glad that you like it. 🙂 No – I just cut the rectangles – the measurements are down near the bottom of the post! 🙂
thank you…. I understand now how to do the technique. Can’t wait to give it a try.
Good! Have fun with it, Kay! 🙂
Mollycoddling…I haven’t heard that word in forevah! Yes, I think I know what we’re playing with tonight but my lips are sealed until 7 PM! See you then. Have a blessed day with your plant babies.
Well – it’s what we do, right?!? Thanks, Karen – and I bet you DO know what we’re using! 🙂
Wow, Mary! You created a very peaceful scene…I’m calling a sunrise. I love beautiful sunrises. Enjoy your day!
Thanks, Hilda – and it could for sure be a sunrise!! 🙂
Hope to catch your live tonight! Poor Finn…he’s a small dog stuck in a big dogs body. 😉
Thanks, Amy – and yes. His struggle is real! 🙂
Such a pretty card! Love the colors, perfect for spring! And yeah, sometimes you have to check for holes in your eyelids. 😉
Yep – so far no holes. But…eyes are too important to take chances with, right?! Thanks Amy! 🙂
I love the pop-ups! Such a fun, cheerful card you made using them! Perfect for the time challenge! TFS. Finn looks like I feel some days!
Right?!? There’s just days when having a lie down on the sofa is JUST the thing!! Thank you so much, Susan! 🙂
Hi Mary,
This is such a pretty card….I’m so glad to see how those dies work…..really like them.
I did see your ‘gram’….thought it was good!! it was better than some that go so fast you can’t even tell what they are doing….i mean, what is the point of that?? I gave it a ‘heart’!
Loyal Finn-y would rather rest with mama than work with papa……smart doggie!
He IS a smart fella – and he IS 1000% my dog when push comes to shove!! Thanks, Faith – I appreciate the “heart” and the kind words!! 🙂
Such pretty cards! Love the colors and your designs are perfect! Poor Finn…if he’s anything like Ginny, I’m sure that there was much crying and carrying on involved…she’s always sure that she’s been left of of the best things!! 😉
He didn’t cry. He just gave me “the look” for the whole time Wayne was inside. I got the message, for sure! 🙂 Thanks, Amy! 🙂
Your cards are beautiful and I enjoyed the Reel. I can only imagine what is going through Finn’s head. His expression says it all!
Yes – yes it does! 🙂 Thanks, Karen! 🙂
I LOVE your stories about Finn. Also Mary your cards are beautiful.
Thank you so much – I really appreciate it! 🙂
Gorgeous cards, in both colors! I love them and they’re a great take on that sketch! I have some flowers left from my cutting binge this weekend so adding this to my ToCASE list! TFS! Yeah, Finn looks pretty put out! Dad surely could’ve looked around inside a little bit!
Right?! A little window shopping never hurt anyone!! Thank you so much, Susan! 🙂
