Stampin’ Up! Cruising and Exploring the Fjords!

HappyHappy Hawwmp Day!  It’s Day 4 of our cruise and we’ve been a bit busy!

Okay – a lot of the “busy” has revolved around FOOD but – we have taken a break or two to DO and SEE some THINGS!

Our first full day was a Sea Day – and it started out with a Stampin’ Up! general session – we got a few sneak peeks from the next Mini catalog (I can’t share yet but…you’re going to really like it a lot!) AND – we learned where we’ll go for the 2025 Incentive Trip.  THAT was exciting for sure!

We also hit the hospitality room to spin for Prize Patrols – and raid the candy jars!  THOSE are always a hit!

We got back to the room to find we had a little visitor.  Wayne wanted to bring him home…

Being a sea-day, we’d scheduled a “flight” in the iFly Ripcord – this is the same equipment that is in land-based facilities but..on a ship!

It was fun, no doubt – but…it was hard work!  We each got to “fly” twice and that was plenty!

Amy didn’t want to do it – so…I gave her a little grief over that, but…was happy she was willing to be our photographer! 🙂

The weather was sort of nasty that afternoon so our scheduled NorthStar Extended Experience was cancelled.  We decided to do the shorter “ride” the next day before heading in to Haugesund – our first port in Norway!

Our approach to the port of Haugesund was beautiful…

And, being a gorgeous clear day – it turned out to be a spectacular view from the NorthStar – which extends up to 300 feet above the sea level!

We headed to town – across a tall and VERY windy bridge! – and did a little exploring on our own.

We found a lot of shops and a beautiful park…

…and Harald Fairhair, the first Viking King of Norway, has a bronze statue at the top of a hill overlooking the fjord and the open sea.

Back to the ship for lunch – then I hit the treadmill as we ported out!

Dinner with Amy and Lance and Jaime B and her husband Will, then a show – it was Jon Courtenay – a Britain’s Got Talent Winner (he was VERY good and very funny!) and then to bed!

Tomorrow is…Gerander – home of chocolate with cheese in it!!

I hope you’re enjoying the pics of this amazing trip that I am SO grateful to have earned – with all y’all’s help!  Thank you again!

And – I’ve got one more opening for the host club starting on 1 June – if you want it, let me know quick as you can, okay? 🙂

P.S. Stampin’ Up! tells me that have to let you know – that not many demonstrators earn the incentive trip – it’s actually fewer than 1% – which means my results aren’t typical!  Okay.  Done! 😉
