Stampin’ Up! Have You Seen the Colorful Kaleidoscope Kit? It’s New in Our Kit Collection!

Hey guys – happy Hawwwmp! Day! We’re working towards our new normal here at the Deatherage house – yesterday had some ups and downs.  But…we’ll get there.  All of us will!

We’ve got a new kit in the Kits Collection and…mine is on the way to the house.  But – since kits can be available only while they’re in stock, I didn’t want to wait to share it with you – cuz I think it’s a good one!!

It’s called the Colorful Kaleidoscope Kit – and it’s one of our All-Inclusive Kits.  That means that EVERYTHING you need to put the NINE cards together is INSIDE the box – and that includes ink (Gray Granite in this case!), adhesives and an acrylic block!

And our kit boxes are some of the best!  They’re sturdy and stout – and are perfect for sending the kit as a gift, or…toting on a trip – just toss it in your suitcase and you’ll be ready to create wherever you are!  I keep my leftover kit boxes on a shelf when I’m done with them.  They make SUPER small-size gift boxes!  😎  That large one is going to be a perfect size for a couple of totes-adorbs little outfits I have waiting to give to a certain tiny human! 😉

Anywho…back to the kit!

Like I said – you’ll be able to make 9 pretty cards – 3 each of 3 designs – and you’re going to find a very good instruction sheet in the box!

I like the sentiments in this kit – they’re going to be great for the kit cards but…ALSO good for making all sorts of cards later! I love “Just Because You’re So Special To Me”!! 🙂

So – here’s a quick look at the cards all told…

The first one is really pretty in Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy!  The gold touches that I can see add such a nice little pop of bling!

This is a birthday card – and I really like the colors here – Night of Navy is pretty perfect with Calypso Coral and Petal Pink.  They’ve really captured the inside of a kaleidoscope, haven’t they??

The third design is “meant” as a Just Because card – but…the birthday sentiment would fit it, too, so…don’t be afraid to change them up! I really like the addition of the Gray Granite on this one!  And – you know me and #nonekkidenvelopes, so….I love that all the envelopes are colored & decorated to match their cards!

All in all – I think this is a wonderful kit and I can’t wait for mine to arrive!  It’s a great way to get nine birthday and thank you cards ready for the mail lickety split.

Stampin’ Up! did a quick little video on how to put it together – you can scan the QR code on the instruction sheet inside the package and watch it from there…

Or…you know – come back and watch it right HERE!  Click the pic!

So – I hope this kit is on your list now – if it is…head over and pick one (or three!!) up right quick!

You can see ALL of the kits currently available in the Kits Collection By Stampin’ Up! in the online store here. The kits are available for anyone to purchase, you don’t even need a subscription! 🙂

Finn Fan Fix

Last weekend, we went out to dinner with our friends Jan and Ed and Chris and Courtney.  And…our favorite tiny human – Princess Juliette!

She is simply too stinkin’ cute.  And…might or might not be totally aware of her charm! 😉

I guess she’s at the “Practice Face-making” Stage.  Is that a thing??

I tried my darnedest to capture the “OOO” face – but..unlike Finn-the-ham, Jules won’t hold still long enough for me!

This was as close as I got.

Still pretty cute! 😉

  1. That kit is so pretty! Love the layering and the gold touches! And yep, she’s pretty cute! And they totally go through a “making funny faces” phase and they turn into teenagers…and look out! 🙂

    • stampsnlingers

I know! I’m glad I can just enjoy this cute phase and then pick and choose the time to be with the teenage version!! Thanks so much, Amy! 🙂

  2. Susan K

Love this kit…I have a collection of kaleidoscopes, so naturally gravitate towards this one! TFS. My thoughts continue to be with you as you adjust…those first few days as reality sets in are especially hard. 🙏😢. Hope cute things like The Princess J help.

    • stampsnlingers

Yes – they do help. And yes – these days are the hardest but…we always adjust – even if we think we never will! Thank you so much, Susan! 🙂

  3. Sandra Warthen

She is adorable. Can’t believe how fast she is growing. Mary, please know you are in my prayers. I know your heart is hurting.

Thank you so much, my friend. And yes – she’s got the weed thing going on. It’s fun to watch! 🙂

  4. Kate

    She’s a cutie!

A little off topic, but I finally watched your flying seagull card video on Sunday night and have made two of them now. Your tutorial was so good that they are really easy to make!
(The decorating takes a little longer!) Thanks so much, so fun!

Oh – I’m glad you liked it, Beth Ann – and that you made it, too! :). Thanks!
