Good morning and happy…Friday! I’m a little off my days this week – Miss Sonya cleaned yesterday (thank goodness!) instead of today so…I spent all day yesterday thinking it was FRIDAY! But it wasn’t. 🤷♀️
When we went to Maui, we did some snorkeling, which was wonderful! Wayne and Lance, though, ALSO went S.C.U.B.A. diving and saw some sea turtles – the pictures were pretty awesome (but..I wish I hadn’t been so claustrophobic in the mask/tank thingy and could have gone, too!). And I know I’ve been pretty reticent about my love of Maui…or..not. So – the Sea Turtle set, when it was released in the Jan-Apr 2023 Mini, caught my eye right away! I pulled it out today and found a couple of good sentiments in the Happy Labels stamp set to go with! Take a look-see:

Et Voila! Oh – my – goodness! I LOVE this stamp set SO much! The Sea Turtle images – with their “reversable-ness” – are simply wunnermus – and will let you create all sorts of pretty undersea scenes! Add in some By The Bay DSP and maybe a die cut or five from the Seaside Bay Die set and…you MIGHT think you’re on Maui! 😉

Finn Fan Fix 
Finn’s taking a “me” day and gave me leave to “borrow” his spot. Hope you don’t mind!
Last week, when I made the Greatest Journey Card – I used the three cloud dies in the set.
When I was DONE – I had TWO dies left – the smallest was….gone. 😳😳😳
I looked high – I looked low. I dumped out the trash cans and pawed thru them.
I got on my hands and knees to check under the table and under the dresser. Yes – I DID manage to get back up but…it wasn’t pretty! 🙂
I sort of gave up hope.
Yesterday, I made sourdough crackers. When they were all baked I dumped them onto a tray to cool.
Which seems like…an unrelated thing.
While making dinner, I donned my mitt to pull the chicken from the oven…
Once I had the mitt on, I realized there was something in it. I figured it was a cracker – thinking I’d gotten a little jiggy with the “dumping” earlier.
I was…wrong.
How. In. The. World?!?
I was very happy to see that die – although not a little confused about how the heck it got in there.
Fast forward to yesterday at my craft table – my brain finally clicked on the answer.
My new watch band is metallic with a ….MAGNETIC clasp.
Appears I carried it with me when I made dinner last week and it got scraped off when I pulled the mitt on. I was totally oblivious!
Can’t make this stuff up, y’all! 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
