Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Pretty Prints Hello There Card

Happy Happy Hawwwmp Day, y’all!  We’re back in “last gasp of summer” mode here – nice for a few hours in the morning, but then…channeling a SAUNA around lunch.  Yuk.  AND – it’s getting dark earlier and earlier.  DOUBLE YUK!  But – dark early means cooler days are coming – which I am looking forward to – I’m anxious to start griping about the COLD – not the hot! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

My card today is not Christmas.  Nor Fall.  It’s all about gorgeous organic images of cool greenery and Calypso Coral-ery!  Yes – I’m referring to the wunnermus Pretty Prints DSP.  It plays a big role in the card – forming the base for the Nature’s Prints leaves – all cut with the bundled Natural Prints Dies.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge.

I started by adhering a piece of Calypso Coral Pretty Prints DSP to the front of a Calypso Coral card base using Liquid Glue.

Next up – I matted a square of a different Calypso Coral design on Evening Evergreen and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I cut three strips of Pretty Prints DSP – this time in Evening Evergreen – and matted them on Evening Evergreen, then adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I cut a Basic White circle using the largest circle die in the Stylish Shapes die set and adhered it with Liquid Glue.

I used Stampin’ Seal to add a loose “Z” of Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon to the die cut circle.

On another piece of Basic White I stamped three leaves from Nature’s Prints.  The “fern” is Soft Succulent, the berries are Evening Evergreen – and the large leaf is Soft Succulent – that I used a Sponge Dauber on to “tone down” the color.

I cut the leaves with the coordinating dies in the Natural Prints set and then, using Liquid Glue, I adhered them to the card front.

I stamped the Nature’s Prints sentiment in Calypso Coral on Basic White and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes label die.  It’s adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added three Soft Succulent 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds to the sentiment and three more in Evening Evergreen to the white circle – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped two leaves from Nature’s Prints in Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen on a Basic White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to an Evening Evergreen cardstock and into the Calypso Coral card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Nature’s Prints leaves in Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen on the front…

…and more of the Pretty Prints DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Had you forgotten how much you love this suite??  I sort of had, I admit.  The Nature’s Prints stamp set and bundled Natural Prints Dies are gorgeous (and I love “Hello There” – such a versatile sentiment!).  The colors in the Pretty Prints DSP are perfect alone AND with each other.  Think of the color possibilities!  🙂

HOST CODE FOR 16 SEP – 30 SEP: CHZU7CTX

Use this host code when you order $50 or greater and receive a free gift (AND the Monthly Card Tutorial) from me!  If your order is over $150, please do not use this code, but you’ll still get the free gift.  The free gift is your choice of any item valued up to $10.00 in any active Catalog!  That includes some of the Host Exclusive stamp sets!  See my Customer Rewards page for full details.

Note: Make sure that you can see my name on the final checkout page listed as your Demonstrator when you order so that you know that you’re ordering with me and you’ll get my rewards!

You’ll also be getting a link to my ZOOM The Craftroom (an exclusive TWICE-A-WEEK online event for my customers) and the monthly Online Tutorial. The September Tutorial features the Perched in a Tree Bundle!

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  😔   I’m having to get a little more hard-over on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater (I’m not a monster!! 😎).  And the gift is still any SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done lickety-split!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do it, so….

You’ll still get the monthly tutorial and link to my monthly Zoom The Craftroom (YEAH!!) but….not that free goody!  And no one wants that to happen so….try to remember, okay!?

Click here to see instructions for how to add the code before you check out – it’s in Printable PDF Form so you can keep it handy! 🙂

If you have any questions – please get in touch with me!  I’ll be happy to help!
