Stampin’ Up! Rustic Hello Harvest for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  We’ve got a fun Theme challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

When I saw our theme – it was a no brainer for me to pull out the Hello Harvest stamp set and its bundled Rustic Pumpkin Die set.  Then I added some Rustic Harvest DSP to make a quick and easy Fall card!  Take a look-see:

Yes – our theme is….Fall!

And I borrowed the layout idea from the Sketch Saturday challenge this week.

I started by adhering a piece of Rustic Harvest DSP to the front of a Basic Black card base using Liquid Glue.

Next up – I used Liquid Glue to adhere two equally sized pieces of the Rustic Harvest DSP in a Cajun Craze design – on a strip of Pumpkin Pie cardstock. Then I added it to the card front with more Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large pumpkin and the floral spray from the Hello Harvest set in Tuxedo Black then cut them out with the coordinating dies from the Rustic Pumpkin die set.

I colored the pumpkin with the Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I used the Light blends from the Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Daffodil Delight, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede and Cherry Cobbler packs to color the spray.  I also used a Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker to color the shading on the middle of the sunflower petals.  It’s adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue – over the top of the pumpkin.

Using a little Stampin’ Seal +, I adhered a length of Old Olive ribbon from the Old Olive & Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon Combo Pack.

On a small piece of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from Hello Harvest in Cajun Craze ink.  I matted the sentiment on Pumpkin Pie and adhered it over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added some Brushed Brass Butterflies and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped the floral spray in Tuxedo Black in the top corner of a Basic White cardstock panel, and colored it with the Stampin’ Blends as I’d done on the front.  Then I stamped a second sentiment from Hello Harvest in Cajun Craze – tucked into the curve of the floral spray.  I added another Brushed Brass Butterfly, too.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pumpkin Pie mat and into the Basic Black card base and the card was done.

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Hello Harvest floral spray on the front…

…and more of the Rustic Harvest DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Hello Harvest and the bundled Rustic Pumpkins Die set is a perfect – and obvious! – choice for all your Fall cards!  And when you pair it up with the coordinating Rustic Harvest DSP – boom!
