Stampin’ Up! Sweet Bouquet of Love & Happiness for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!  We’ve got a theme challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table – I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I went totally off-book today!  Which means I made a clean and simple card! 😂😂😂

I know – not sure what happened!  I was scrolling thru my iPad photos taking a little trip down memory lane when I came across a card that I had really liked (yes – one of my own – shameless, I know) and decided to CASE myself.  THAT one used plaid and leaves with a Fall theme, but for this one, I used the Love & Happiness Bundle (with the cool Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder) and Sweet Talk DSP.  Take a look-see!

And – here’s our theme!

The layout also was pretty spot on for the TGIF Challenge, too!

I started with some heart-strewn paper from the Sweet Talk DSP and adhered a panel to the front and inside of a Thick Basic White card base using Liquid Glue!

I cut a heart from a Basic White panel, using the die in the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder set.

Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I popped the panel onto the card front.

I ran the heart back thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine – placed inside the Embossing Folder that is part of the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder.

I put a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals under the left lobe of the heart and a little Liquid Glue on the right – and adhered it at a jaunty angle.

I stamped the sentiment from Love & Happiness stamp set in Highland Heather ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock.  Then I snipped banner ends with my Paper Snips and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the card front was done.

On the inside, I stamped a second Love & Happiness sentiment in Highland Heather on a Basic White panel.  Above it, I stamped the little three-heart outline image from the Sweet Conversation set in Real Red.  I stamped the fill-image in Blushing Bride – then added a Red Rhinestone Jewel. 🙂

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my prepared card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Sweet Conversations hearts in Real Red and Blushing Bride on the front…

…and more of the Sweet Talk DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Well – as far outside my wheelhouse as this sort of card is – I always love them when I accidently MAKE one!  I love the fun colors in the Sweet Talk DSP – and it’s spotlighted so well by the die cut from the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder  – which is bundled with the Love & Happiness stamp set.  And the fun Sweet Conversations set stands ready and able to add quick, easy and fun love-themed images!

I hope you like!
