Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Cabin Tailor Made Gift Tags

Happy Saturday, y’all!  Hope your weekend is going well!  We’re having a marvelous time at our Retreat – crafting and yakking and eating and then repeating!  James is the consummate host – and we can’t recommend Crafty Elk Lodge enough!!  🙂

When we got here yesterday, we “moved in” to the crafting area and got everything set up.  Which included setting out some welcome gifts!  I figured you’d like to see a very cool gift tag that you can put in your toolkit.  Not to put too fine a point on it – but…it’s the 18th of September.  There’s like…three months left before the Big Gift Giving season is upon us!  Consider this tag – cut using the Tailored Tag Die Set and decorated with the Peaceful Cabin bundle!  Take a look-see:

I started by cutting the Crumb Cake tag with the Tailor Made Tags Die.  Then I placed the tag into my Stamparatus and stamped the cabin image from Peaceful Cabin in Early Espresso.

I used my Blender Pen to “pull” ink out into the image to color it lightly.  Then I stamped a Reflected in Nature sentiment in Mossy Meadow under the image.

I used the tree dies in the Cabin Die set – there are two for each image – the outline die and the detailed die.  You can run them thru the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine together.  When you do – it creates an edge die cut with the tree “sticking up”.  For this application, I snipped them from the rest of the card stock.  I cut the single tree and the double tree die cut.

I adhered the single tree with Liquid Glue and popped the double-tree on with small pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a single Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dot and the tag was done.

So – with the groundwork in place – I made 10 more!  Thank you, Stamparatus! 😉

I used them as the gift tags for my retreat attendees!  I added some goodies to a super cool Stampin’ Up! mug (available only to Demonstrators – hint hint) and then gift wrapped them!
