Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Tomorrow Likeable Person for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  We’ve got a sketch challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

I don’t know about y’all – well, I do, but….that’s such a great way to start, right?!? 😂 – but I LOVE the Beauty of Tomorrow Suite in the Jul – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog!  So…I saw a color challenge that was perfect for the Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP and decided to start from there and use more goodies from the suite – like the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set, Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack and the Gold 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon.  Take a look-see:

And here’s our sketch (I turned it up on its end).

And this is the Paper Players color challenge that got me rolling!  My Any 4th Color is Cinnamon Cider.  🙂

I started with a piece of Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP that I matted on the bottom portion of a Cinnamon Cider mat.  I embossed a smaller piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock in the Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it on the top of the mat to make the card front.

Using a couple of Glue Dots on the back, I adhered a length of 1/4″ Gold Shimmer Ribbon around the “seam”.

TIP:  my friend – and member of the CNCK team! – Terry Lynn Bright – shared a fun Glue Dot tip with us at our team meeting this past weekend. She ties a short length of ribbon around her Glue Dot roll and that lets her access the Glue Dots easily AND “corrals” the roll!  Thank you, TL!!

I cut a piece of Cinnamon Cider with a die from Tasteful Labels – embossed it in the Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.

Using some more Glue Dots, I wound a length of the Gold Shimmer Ribbon into a “bow”.

Then I pulled some fun floral die cuts from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I popped the large acorn die cut – from the Ephemera Pack – onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On Cinnamon Cider, I stamped the Beauty of Tomorrow sentiment in Polished Pink.  I masked off part of the sentiment with a sticky note so that I could divide the sentiment.  Then I fussy cut each part and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I added some Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Jewels – here and there and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Beauty of Tomorrow in Polished Pink on a Basic White panel.  In the corner, I stamped the small floral in Cinnamon Cider and colored the teensy berries with my Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Write Marker.  Then I nestled a little Polished Pink gem amongst the flowers.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere the panel to a Cinnamon Cider mat and into my Polished Pink card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got a repeat of the Beauty of Tomorrow florals on the front…

…and a little more Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I think the color palette of the Blackberry Beauty Specialty DSP is so gorgeous – rich and Fall-ish and wunnermus, don’t you?  The Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set is a perfect foil with some of the most beautiful fonts that I’ve seen.  And Ephemera Packs like this one are kind of a new thing for us at Stampin’ Up! but…I am loving them!  Such quick, easy and perfect decorations for your projects.

I hope you like!
