Stampin’ Up! Timeworn Nature’s Harvest for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all!  It’s Thursday – which means it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  We’ve got a color challenge to work with and I’m excited to see what everyone brings to the table!  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop today!

When I saw the colors I knew I wanted to use the Harvest Meadow DSP.  Cuz it totally fits.  AND cuz I totally love it!  And then I saw a cool challenge that’s an Inspired-by-the-Mini Catalog challenge.  So…it went from there!  Out came my Nature’s Harvest bundle and my cool Scalloped Contours Dies.  And the wildly-wunnermus Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder!  Take a look-see:

Here’s our color challenge!

And the Inspired-by-the-Mini challenge is courtesy of the TGIF Challenge!

And…if you look on page 54 of said catalog I am betting you’ll see my inspirations! 😉

I started with a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock cut at 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.  First I embossed it in the Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder.  I tore the edges down till the panel was 4″ x 5 1/4″ – including some bigger tears here and there.  Then I scraped my Whisper White Kraft Ink Pad across the embossing (it’s not very visible but this really pulled out the cool embossed words!).  I adhered the panel to the front of my Crumb Cake cardstock with Stampin’ Seal.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere a piece of Harvest Meadow DSP to a piece of Basic White cardstock at an angle.  Then I cut the whole thing with the next-to-largest Scalloped Contours Die.

I cut a length of 3/8″ Diamond Weave Ribbon and then threaded a piece of white twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (thank you for this cool idea, SU designers!!).  I wrapped the ribbon around the angled seam of the die cut, securing it in the back with Glue Dots. I popped the whole thing onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the dies in the Harvest Dies set, I cut some flowers of various colors from the Harvest Meadow DSP.  I had to trim the stems to make them fit – and then I adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Nature’s Harvest sentiment in Misty Moonlight on Basic White and cut it out with the label die in the Harvest Die set.  I used Liquid Glue to adhere it over the ribbon on the card front.

I added some Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front, plus a small white Baker’s Twine bow and the card front was done!

For the inside, I cut another Scalloped Contours die from Basic White, then stamped the large flower from Nature’s Harvest in Misty Moonlight.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to the inside of my card base and the card was done!

My Basic White Medium Envelope got the Misty Moonlight Nature’s Harvest flower on the front…

…and more Harvest Meadow DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  This card has some of my favorite things thanks to the Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder and my fave Nature’s Harvest Bundle and Harvest Meadow DSP!  It’s got texture for days!!

I hope you like!
