I used a few of the elements in the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle plus a bit of Natural Touch Specialty Paper on today’s card – along with some sentiments, image and DSP from the Hydrangea Hill suite! Take a look-see:
The layout for this one is from the current Mojo Monday sketch challenge.
I started by matting some Hydrangea Hill DSP on a piece of Petal Pink cardstock for the card front. Then I matted a piece of new Natural Touch Specialty Paper on Petal Pink and adhered it to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I cut four pieces of Hydrangea Hill DSP with the next-to-largest square Stitched Shapes Die and popped them onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals,
I stamped the sentiment from Hydrangea Haven in Mossy Meadow on a piece of Basic White card stock and cut it with the next-to-largest circle Stitched Shapes die. Around the sentiment, I stamped some outline images of flowers from Hydrangea Haven – in Highland Heather and Rococo Rose.
I used the “fill” image to stamp each flower – in stamped-off-once Highland Heather and Rococo Rose. Then I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Liquid Glue.
I “unbraided” a length of Mossy Meadow 3/16″ Braided Trim and tied a simple bow with it (using ALL the strands!) – then adhered it with a Glue Dot.
I used a detailed die in the Brilliant Wings Die set to cut a small Petal Pink butterfly, which I adhered to the bow with Liquid Glue.
I colored a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels with my Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend and adhered them to the sentiment – and the card front was done!
On the inside, I stamped a second sentiment from Hydrangea Haven in Mossy Meadow onto a Basic White panel. In the corner, I added more flowers in Rococo Rose and Highland Heather.
I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Petal Pink mat and into my Mossy Meadow card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!
My Basic White Medium Envelope got more Hydrangea Haven flowers on the front…
…and more of the Hydrangea Hill DSP on the envelope flap.
Et Voila! These Brilliant Wings die cut butterflies are likely to turn up everywhere – they’re gorgeous – and in so many sizes. It’s so easy to add a sweet little touch! And Hydrangea Haven, with some Hydrangea Hill DSP – is a perfect complement to the die cut AND the gorgeous Natural Touch Specialty DSP!!

Finn Fan Fix
We’ve had a couple of really nice days here in Georgia – and I’ve been able to open the doors and windows to take advantage of the mild temps.
Finn loves it when the slider is open in the kitchen.
He holds real still, hoping the little chippers that play on the ground outside will venture up the steps.
Which they do – looking inside to see what they can see!
They’re a little…surprised when HE is what they see!! 🙂
