Good morning, all – and Happy Happy HAWWWMP Day! The week is flying by, isn’t it? I had to look at my watch when I started this post last night to see what day it was. I was shocked to realize it was already Tuesday. Yikes!
I’ve been getting some queries about ideas for easy to make Christmas cards – that are suitable for making multiples! I made one a couple weeks back using the Curvy Christmas stamp set – you can see it here. But – it got me to thinking, so I decided to do a riff on that one – with one of my favorite stamp sets – the Peaceful Boughs set. I added a sentiment for the inside from For Unto Us and went back to the gorgeous Gold Cards & Envelopes, just like the first card. Take a look-see:
As you might imagine, the Stamparatus is a critical component to making multiples of this card (or any, really!).
The color scheme for these is from the Fab Friday color challenge!
I actually made about 45 of the card fronts in just over an hour. It’ll take about the same to do all the insides – I ran out of Gold Cards & Envelopes long before I ran out of need-to-make-cards! LOL!
I started with a 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″ piece of Very Vanilla that I placed in my Stamparatus. I put the card stock into the Stamparatus – in the middle – so I could hang the Peaceful Boughs pine boughs off the edges. I had both of the acrylic plates on the Stamparatus – and I added my stamps to both sides of one – and a single side of the other. See?
I inked the pine boughs in Mint Macaron and stamped those.
Then, I inked the sentiment – from Peaceful Boughs – in Bumble Bee and stamped it.
I turned the “top” plate over and stamped the pine cones in Cinnamon Cider.
To do all 42, I stamped all of the pieces with the sentiment in Bumble Bee and then the pine boughs in Mint Macaron. Then I turned the plate and stamped all the panels with the pine cones in Cinnamon Cider. THAT is what made the process rock right along!
Stampapotamus….I LOOOOOOOOVE Yuuuuuuuuuuu!
I laid the entire card into the Stamparatus so that I could stamp the inside.
I did the boughs first in Mint Macaron. Then the pine cone and sentiment were on the second acrylic panel – I inked the pine cone in Cinnamon Cider and the sentiment – from For Unto Us – in Bumble Bee ink.
I got all the insides done – including adding a Cinnamon Cider 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dot – then popped all the card fronts on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Each of the card fronts also got a Cinnamon Cider 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dot!
I didn’t do anything to the Gold Envelopes cuz they’re already gorgeous!
I got three done – and will finish the rest when my order comes in with more Gold Cards & Envelopes!
Et Voila! Peaceful Boughs with the addition of a For Unto Us sentiment. Clean. Simple. Elegant!
AND – they’re pretty much flat – I anticipate them mailing with a single stamp! And so easy to get a bunch of done FAST with the help of the Stamparatus! The Gold Cards & Envelopes do SO much of the “pretty” work for you – just go ahead and buy a bunch of them!

I have finally mastered my stamparatus & used it to make my Christmas cards. Sure can make a bunch in a short time & each one is perfect stamping!! WOW!!
This is going back to your garden final harvest…..you answered that you used potatoes from the grocery. Around here we purchase “seed potatoes” from the nursery or box stores that handle garden stuff……..that is what we use for our hills of spuds!! Just an observation on what I understand you saying??!!! Maybe that is the reason for the low volume of spuds & taste. Just a thought.
I am thinking you’re right, Karen. I had the potatoes in the pantry – and they’d gone to sprouting eyes. So I thought to myself – self? What the heck! And I planted them – even knowing better! So – it was a failed experiment!
