Stampin’ Up! Celebration Plaid Tidings & Tags for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Christmas or Happy Holidays!  We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

I pulled out the Celebrations Tidings stamp set with the bundled Celebration Labels dies and added a touch of Plaid Tidings for my project today!  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one is from the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge!

I started by embossing a piece of Crumb Cake card stock in the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder for the card front.

Then I cut three strips of beautiful and Christmas-y paper from the Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ DSP and adhered them across the panel with Liquid Glue.

On a strip of Very Vanilla – in two corners – I stamped the holiday greenery from Celebration Tidings in Crumb Cake ink.  I colored the leaves with my Blender Pen – picking up ink from the Shaded Spruce ink pad lid.  I did the same with Cherry Cobbler for the berries.  Finally, I colored the final “leaves” with my Light Mango Melody Stampin’ Blend.

I matted the strip on Cherry Cobbler and popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used a little Stampin’ Seal to adhere a couple loops of 3/8″ Embroidered Ribbon.

On another piece of Crumb Cake, I stamped the Celebration Tidings sentiment in Cherry Cobbler and then I cut it out with a die from the Celebration Labels Dies.

I added a couple of fluer-do-do’s with the stamps in Celebration Tidings in Crumb Cake – and popped the label over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  And that was it for the card front!

On the inside on a Crumb Cake panel, I stamped the greenery again in Crumb Cake – coloring them as I’d done on the front.  Then I added my Tag Buffet sentiment in Cherry Cobbler.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat and into my Crumb Cake card base – popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got another of the Celebration Tidings Christmas greenery on the front…

…and some more of the Christmas-y Plaid Tidings on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  I love how this design turned out with the Celebration Tidings bundle working so well with the Plaid Tidings DSP, don’t you?  Celebration Tidings is a great season-holiday-spanning stamp set!  And the Celebration Labels is perfect for framing these – and so many more! – sentiments for your projects!

I hope you like!
