Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Pleased As Punch for the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning, y’all – welcome to another edition of Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team blog hop!  Each month we make projects centered around a theme – and this month our theme is Luuuuuv!  We can interpret that any way we want – so…be sure to check and see everyone’s projects – we’ve got a bunch of talented ladies hopping with us this month!

I used the new Pleased As Punch DSP for this one – it really did the lion’s-share of the work.  This pretty paper is one of the goodies coming in the Coordinating Product Release that you’ll see on 4 Feb.  I also pulled the Heartfelt Bundle (with the Heart Punch Pack) and the Detailed Hearts Die to help me out.  Take a look-see:

I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock for the card front.  From a second piece, I cut the Detailed Hearts Die.  I adhered the die cut to the card front (keeping some of the “cut outs”) with Liquid Glue.  Then I matted the panel on Bermuda Bay.

I used Glue Dots to adhere a doubled-up length of Daffodil Delight 3/8″ Ruched Ribbon.

I used the solid-edge Heart Punch (from the Heart Punch Pack – bundled with the Heartfelt stamp set) to punch out three hearts from the Pleased As Punch DSP.

On another piece of Whisper White, I stamped the lacy-heart image from Heartfelt in Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink and Bermuda Bay.  These are punched with the second (scalloped edged) punch in the new Punch Pack. I adhered the DSP hearts to the stamped hearts with Liquid Glue.

On the Petal Pink heart, I stamped the Heartfelt sentiment in Bermuda Bay.

I adhered the first two hearts to the card front with Liquid Glue and popped the sentiment heart on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Liquid Glue.

I used the Small Bloom Punch (a $100 level reward from the 2020 Sale-A-bration Flyer) and punched out five flowers from the Pleased As Punch DSP.  I rounded them with a stylus and adhered them to the card front with Liquid Glue.  A Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the middle of each flower finished up the card front.

On the inside, I stamped a second Heartfelt sentiment in Bermuda Bay on a Whisper White panel.  I added a lacy heart in Daffodil Delight in the corner.  Then I punched a mask from a sticky note using the scalloped-edge punch.  I laid the mask over the heart and then stamped the heart again in Petal Pink.  When I picked up the mat…

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Bermuda Bay mat and into my Daffodil Delight card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Heartfelt hearts on the front…

…and some flower-dy Pleased As Punch DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Oh my goodness, y’all!  I LOVE this new Pleased As Punch DSP – it’s got the prettiest colors and is so stinkin’ handy!!  It coordinates with the Heart Punch Pack, the Small Bloom Punch, the Umbrella Builder Punch and the Tulip Builder Punch!  Whaaaa?!?  And the reverse sides are gorgeous – and Spring-y! – designs that work perfectly for any project!

The Heartfelt Bundle brings you wonderful heart images and perfect sentiments, plus the two-piece Heart Punch Pack and it all coordinates beautifully with the Detailed Hearts Die.  Oh yes – it’s ALL about the luuuuvvv!!! 🙂  I hope you like!

Now that you’ve seen my card, I hope you’ll take a little time to jump thru all the other projects we have to share. Click any name below, or you can use the Previous Blog button to jump to Shirley’s page or the Next Blog button to see what Connie’s been up to!
