Stampin’ Up! Let It Snowman Season Sneak Peek!

Happy….uhm.  Hmmm.

Wait – don’t tell me.  Let me guess.

Monday?

Yes.  Yes – that’s it.  Happy Monday!

See?  Embracing my retired status like a boss! LOL!

I’ve got a quick and easy, clean and simple sneak peek Christmas Card for you today!  It uses the new Snowman Seasons stamp set and Let It Snow Specialty DSP from the 2019 Holiday Catalog!  And…some really uber-adorable enamel shapes from the new Let it Snow Embellishment Kit.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this is from this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge!

I started with some new Let It Snow Specialty DSP (coming on 4 Sept!) in Real Red and matted it on Coastal Cabana for the card front. Next up is a smaller piece of Whisper White – also matted on Coastal Cabana – and then adhered to the card front with Liquid Glue.

I cut three small squares with the Stitched Shapes Dies in Whisper White and popped them onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  In the open space, I stamped a sentiment from the new Snowman Season stamp set (avail on 4 Sept) in Real Red.  Over top, I stamped a snowflake in Coastal Cabana.

I built the three snowmen using pieces from the new (and wonderful!!) Let It Snow Embellishment Kit!

I “built” the snowmen with large “coal” enamel shapes for eyes, “carrots” and…a Shaded Spruce felt scarf (adhered with Liquid Glue).

And…that was it for the card front.  Super quick and super simple!

On the inside, I added a second sentiment from Snowman Season in Real Red on a Whisper White panel.  Over top I stamped the snowflakes in Coastal Cabana – stamping twice without re-inking.  In the bottom corner, I added a top hat in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink – and colored it with my Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Coastal Cabana Stampin’ Write Markers.  Then I added more of the enamel shapes.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Coastal Cabana mat and into my Real Red card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Coastal Cabana snowflakes on the front…

…and I added some more Let It Snow Specialty DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!!  I am completely in love with the entire Let It Snow Suite – in particular the Snowman Season stamp set and Let It Snow DSP! And – the felt and enamel shapes in the Let It Snow Embellishment kit are totes-adorbs!  I hope you like and are adding this suite to your shopping list for the arrival of the 2019 Holiday Catalog on 4 Sept!
