Stampin’ Up! Believe You Can Sneak Peek Thank You

Happy happy HAWWWMP Day!  I don’t know if it’s really Hawwmp Day when it’s just a four-day week?

Hmmm.

Anyway – happy we’reonthedownhillslidetotheweekend day! 🙂

Today, I’ve got another sneak peek for you (what?!?)!  This is also a host-exclusive stamp set – we’re less than a week away from the launch of the 2019-2021 Annual Catalog when these goodies will be available!  The Believe You Can set is really pretty – and even works with the Stitched Nested Labels (which – if you recall, is going to bundle with the Free As a Bird stamp set!).  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge!

I started by matting some Pretty Peacock paper from the 2019-2021 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP on Balmy Blue to make the card front.

I stamped the big floral label image from Believe You Can in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Whisper White.  I cut it out with a die from the Stitched Nested Labels die set.  Then I used my Paper Snips to trim it down – I just followed the stitched line.

I stamped the sentiment itself in Daffodil Delight – isn’t that cool how it just nestles right in there?!?  And it’s photopolymer, so….easy peasy!

I colored the large flowers with my Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.  For the leaves and smaller flowers, I picked up ink from the lids of my ink pads with my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush – and used the Clear Wink as a “paint” brush.  I used Pretty Peacock for the leaves and Balmy Blue for the rest of the flowers.

I used the same Stitched Nested Label Die to cut a Balmy Blue mat and adhered the stamped label to it with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the little chevron image from the Believe You Can set in Daffodil Delight on Whisper White and fussy cut it.  Then it was time to build the card front!

I adhered a Pearlized Doily to the card front with Liquid Glue.  Then came the fussy cut chevron.

Finally, I popped the sentiment on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished off with some Pearl Basic Jewels, a Seaside Spray 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dot and some Woven Threads Sequins – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added some more flowers and leaves in Tuxedo Black on Whisper White, coloring them with my Blends and Clear Wink of Stella.  With my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write Marker, I added some doodle-dots around the image.  I added a 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dot and a couple of Pearls, too!

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Balmy Blue mat and into my Daffodil Delight card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Believe You Can flowers on the front…and a Daffodil Delight To-From image, too! 🙂

…and I put some more of the 2019-2021 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Another fun Host-Exclusive stamp set – Believe You Can – coming in less than a week!  And…gingham paper in Pretty Peacock and all the colors of the Stampin’ Up! color-verse.  Whoo-hoo!!  I hope you like!

When we went for dinner the other day, Finn stayed at the house.

Snoozing in his bedroom with a movie playing in the background and the fan blowing his fur.

I’m pretty certain there was snoring and snuffling going on!

Meanwhile – over at my friend’s – the kids (what I’ll always call them I’m pretty sure) – were busy “doctoring” dogs.

Finn would not have been impressed. 😉

They’d all gone swimming in the pool that morning so everyone was having their ears cleaned and dried real good.

The dog, I mean.  He’s an old sweetie-pie that I remember as a little puppy.  He’s 10 now.  And he likes to cuddle.
