Stampin’ Up! Everything Is Rosy Thank You Card!

Yowza, y’all!  It’s FRIDAY again!  Whaaaa?

And – more to the point – we’re well past the half-way mark for the Stampin’ Up! Everything is Rosy Product Medley! How is that even possible?

On Wednesday, when I showed you my first “Rosy” card (here), I promised a second one soon.

Well – it’s “soon”!  This time I used the Product Medley to create a quick and easy Thank You card, making heavy use of the die cuts included in the medley.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from this week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.

I started by making my own designer paper.  There are a lot of beautiful papers in the medley, but…I wanted something just a little different.  So…I stuck the three Everything Is Rosy leaves from the stamp set onto an Acrylic Block and inked them in Night of Navy ink.  Then I stamped them all over a Whisper White panel.  Aren’t they gorgeous?!?  I LOVE the textures I got just by inking-and-stamping!  I also added some flower-centers all around in Melon Mambo and Balmy Blue.

I matted the panel on Melon Mambo for the card front and added a Melon-Mambo-matted panel of the Everything Is Rosy DSP (the REAL one!) to the side with some more Liquid Glue.

Then I pulled out the die cuts in the Medley and adhered one with Liquid Glue.  Over that, I used Glue Dots to adhere a piece of the Night of Navy/Rose Gold Ribbon from the pack.

On one of the Rose-Gold-Foil embellished die cut sentiment labels (I’m telling you guys – the Everything Is Rosy Product Medley is simply chock-a-block full of goodies!!!) I stamped a sentiment from the set in Melon Mambo.  Then I popped it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used Dimensionals and Liquid Glue to add a couple more flower die cuts – tucking one under the edge of the sentiment!  Then I added some Rose Gold Adhesive-Backed Mirror Embellishments to the flower centers.

Finally – some of the die cut labels have decorative holes pre-punched in them – I took some of the little “hanging chads” and adhered them with Liquid Glue in the centers of the smaller flowers…and the card front was done!

On the inside, I adhered another flower die cut with Liquid Glue to a Whisper White panel.  Around it I stamped the flower-center image in Melon Mambo.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Melon Mambo mat and into my Balmy Blue card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got another die cut and stamped flower-centers on the front…

…and a little more Everything Is Rosy “real” DSP on the envelope flap!

Et Voila!  I’m loving this Everything is Rosy Product Medley that Stampin’ Up! has pulled together for us – but you have to remember it is ONLY for a month!, y’all!  Specifically, THIS month – which is officially half-over!  So…NOW would be a most excellent time to snap it up and add it to your stash!

  1. So pretty! Love the layering and your mix of designer papers. Finn was just helping…he pointed out that you missed some rice and then wanted to make sure that you didn’t have to waste water rinsing the bowl. 😉
