Stampin’ Up! Over The Moon Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hey y’all – it’s Thursday, so it’s time for another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!!  Today’s Hop is a color challenge – and it’s a doozy! – so, I’m excited to see what everyone comes up with –  I just know you’re going to see a ton of awesome-ness on the hop!

Our color sketch is…no colors!  Well, we’re allowed to use a little bit of an accent color.  So…given the basic non-color-colors of the challenge, I decided it was time to ink up the new and uber-adorbs Over The Moon stamp set – which is coming to you on 4 June!  Take a look-see:

I added a touch of yellow!

I borrowed a fun layout from the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge this week – it fit right into the play-on-words that I was going for!

I started with a Whisper White panel and used some stickey notes to mask the top portion off.  Then, in Basic Gray, I stamped the Over the Moon moon several times.  Then I used the fine-tip end of my Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to lightly color the inside edges of the moon.

I made some doodle-dashes across the card panel with my Journaling Pen.  You can also see I added clusters of dots around the moons!

Using my Stamparatus, I added the Over the Moon sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  Above that is the adorable cow – also in Tuxedo Black – “over the moon”.

See what I did there?  The COW is actually OVER the MOON!

I’m quackin’ myself up here!! 😉

I used my Basic Gray and Basic Black Watercolor Pencils to color the cow.  And my Light Daffodil Delight Blend to color the bell.  Then I matted the panel on So Saffron for the card front.

I tied a teesny-weensy little bow from Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine and added it with a teensy-weensy dab of Liquid Glue.  A Rhinestone Basic Jewel and some more dot-clusters in the corners finished off the card front!

On the inside, I added Basic Gray moons and doodle dot clusters in the corners of a Whisper White panel.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a So Saffron mat and into my Basic Gray card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more moons and doodle-dots on the front…

…and…a little more fun cow-ness on the back!

Et Voila!  I was SO tickled to be able to get this Over The Moon stamp set with my pre-order (one of those little Demonstrator perks!).  I fell in love with the cows and fun sentiments the second I saw it!  And I know you will, too – so just go ahead and add this one to your shopping list!!  I hope you like!
