Stampin’ Up! A Little Lace Sneak Peek

Hey y’all – welcome to another week.  Isn’t there a holiday coming up soon?

I hope?

My card today is very simple – and showcases a sweet little new set from the 2019-2010 Annual Catalog called A Little Lace.  Take a look-see:

I started by stamping the large image from A Little Lace in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel – using my Stamparatus.  I also added a few additional images around the large one.

With my Light and Dark Petal Pink and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, I colored some of the flowers.

I added the sentiment from A Little Lace in Pretty Peacock – and then added another little fleur-de-do in the corner.

I added some doodle-dashes around the panel with my Journaling Pen.  The panel is double matted on Basic Black and Petal Pink.

I added a couple three Gold Faceted Gems – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added another floral image from A Little Lace in the four corners of a Whisper White panel, and colored them with the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Blends.  Then I “connected” them with doodle-dashes.

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel on Basic Black and Petal Pink, then into my Pretty Peacock card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more A Little Lace florals and some doodle-dashes on the front…

…and all I did on the envelope flap was…doodle-dashes! 🙂

Et Voila!  A Little Lace is such fun – and it’s even got a die set bundled with it called the Stitched Lace Dies – which I can’t wait to use!  But – it also works really well all by itself, don’t you think?  I hope you like!

P.S.  Wayne and I had a great time at our going-away lunch for Amy on Saturday!  Ate some great food and spent time with friends!  Making new – good! – friends has been one of the biggest bonuses of being part of this wonderful Stampin’ Up! family!

Finn Fan Fix

Finn brought me a Mother’s Day gift yesterday.

I THINK he re-gifted… 😉

And…he sort of asked if he could hold on to it while I wasn’t chewing on it.  For safe keeping and stuff – keep that darned cat from getting it.

Definitely a “gift of love”! 🙂
