Stampin’ UP! Envelope Punch Board Gift Bag

Happy Sunday, y’all!  Are you doing something fun today?  I have cards to make – an OnStage presentation to practice – and…lunch with a new friend!  Looking forward to meeting her – she’s been a customer for a long time now.  Very exciting to get to meet people and put faces to names and voices on the phone!!  Yeah!!

If you were able to join me last night for my Facebook Live video, I appreciate you spending part of your weekend with me!  If not, and you’d like to see how to make today’s project, here’s the replay on YouTube!

We did a fun-fold 3-D project, making a small gift bag from some Share What You Love DSP and one from Happiness Blooms DSP using the Envelope Punch Board.  They both used images and sentiments from the Fable Friends stamp set.  Take a look-see at the Share What You Love bag:

The bag that was the Sneak Peek on Saturday was made with Happiness Blooms DSP and the All Things Thanks stamp set.

And here’s the bag we made on the video!

Watching the video is the best way to see how to make this little bag – I got the idea from Sam Donaldson – but the bottom line is to start with a 12″ x 12″ piece of DSP and punch/score at 1 1/2″ – turn 90degrees left – punch/score at 3″ – turn 90degrees left – punch/score 1 1/2″ – turn 90degrees left – punch/score 3″.  Turn the paper over and repeat.

I TOLD you watching the video is the way to see how to do this! 😉

Once you’ve made your bag – you can decorate it however you like!  I used Fable Friends, stamping the images in Tuxedo Black and then coloring them with Stampin’ Blends.  The sentiments are stamped in Tranquil Tide (Share What You Love bag) and Call Me Clover (Happiness Blooms bag).

I cut the image/sentiment with the largest oval die in the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The bunny is adhered to a Pearlized Doily and then popped on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For the squirrel – he’s on a Colored Doily (with the White side up).  Easy peasy!

I embellished them with Faceted Dots (bunny) or Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots (squirrel) and that was it!

Et Voila!  These bags are super easy to make – trust me on this! – especially if you use the video.  You can watch – stop – rewind – watch – stop….  And use that gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper, y’all!  It needs to be SEEN!!  These little bags are big enough for a Cadbury egg – or some Salted Chocolate Caramels, or a little toy – or some little Stampin’ Up! goodies!  Use your imagination!  I hope you like!
