Stampin’ Up! All Adorned in a Row

Happy Saturday, y’all!  Hope you have something fun planned and good weather to do it in!

My card today is super quick and easy – and comes to you thanks to the All Adorned stamp set in the second Sale-A-Bration Release.  Take a look-see:

The layout for this one comes from this week’s Tuesday Morning Sketches.

And it’s exactly easy enough to play along with the Paper Craft Crew Challenge this week.

I started with a plain Whisper White panel.  Using the larger medallion image from All Adorned – and my Stamparatus –  I stamped it in the center of the panel in Highland Heather.  Then I stamped it again on either side.

Next up is the smaller image – stamped in Soft Sea Foam.  It was easy to line up – my photopolymer stamp is slightly colored in red from a previous card – so that let me line the image up with the darker Highland Heather.  Hint:  you won’t hurt your stamp – so…go ahead and ink it in a dark color – I like red – let it set a beat and clean it.  The slight stain left behind will help you get the images lined up.  Then – always start with the darker stamped color first – that will make it even easier to get everything lined up!

I matted the panel on a Pool Party panel.  Then I wrapped a length of Pool Party 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon around the card front, securing it in the back with Glue Dots.

I stamped the little All Adorned sentiment in Highland Heather in the middle of the panel.

I tied a piece of Gold Metallic Thread around the ribbon, cinching it down – then added a bow with a Glue Dot.  Tying the metallic thread around the ribbon first helps to create the illusion that the bow is really “tied”!

Finally – I added a Pearl Basic Jewel to the middle of each medallion and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added two of the corner images from All Adorned in Soft Sea Foam to a Whisper White panel.  Then I stamped a second sentiment in Highland Heather

I used Liquid Glue to adhere the panel to a Pool Party mat and into my Soft Sea Foam card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

My Whisper White Medium Envelope got more Soft Sea Foam corners on the front…

…and another medallion centered on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Easy peasy nice and breezy!  Ink.  Paper.  Stamp.  Okay – a little ribbon.  Well…yea and some pearls.  People – EVERYone should have a pack of pearls in their stash, okay?  So…I think pearls are still “simple and easy”!  Love this All Adorned stamp set – and you can get it for FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 order!  Hope you like!
