Stampin’ Up! Enjoy Life Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday, y’all – and welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop!! Sue and Karen are off this week, but I hope you’ll check out everyone else’s projects – we had a sketch to play with – when you’re done here!

When I got my first glimpse of the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog at CentreStage this past month, I saw so many wondrous new goodies – it was almost overwhelming!  But – one of the stamp sets that really caught my eye was the Enjoy Life set.  So you can imagine how excited I was to be able to order it on our Pre-Order!  Today, I used that set and a little inspiration from the samples in the catalog and made a pretty thank you card.  Take a look-see:

And that’s my interpretation of our challenge sketch:

I started with one of the new Delightfully Detailed Note Cards and cut the front off to be my card front.  Using the wonderful grass silhouette image in the Enjoy Life stamp set – which you can get on 1 June! – I stamped across the bottom in new Blueberry Bushel ink.  I also added a few butterflies at the same time!

Then I double matted the panel on Blueberry Bushel and Rich Razzleberry card stock, using Liquid Glue.

My sentiment, also from Enjoy Life, is stamped in Rich Razzleberry on Very Vanilla, and then punched out with the Everyday Label punch.  I also punched out a Vellum card stock label.  Using Liquid Glue, I adhered the sentiment to the Vellum label – offset just a bit.

I tied a bow from some Blackberry Bliss twine from the Nature’s Twine pack in the new catalog.  Then I adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.  I also added a few of the new Leaves Trinkets (in Silver – there are also Copper ones in the package!) with Glue Dots.  Finally, I adhered the sentiment “stack” with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish off, I added a little Blueberry Bushel bird from Enjoy Life so that he’s “perched” on one of the Leaves Trinkets – and the card front was done!

On the inside, I added more Blueberry Bushel flora and fauna from the Enjoy Life set to a Very Vanilla panel.  I also used a second sentiment, stamped in Rich Razzleberry.

I matted the panel on Blueberry Bushel and Rich Razzleberry and then adhered it in my Thick Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

The front of my Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got a repeat of the Enjoy Life images in Blueberry Bushel…

…as did the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Can you see why I love this stamp set?  The images and sentiments are simply wonderful and I am so looking forward to playing with it for the next year (and hopefully longer!).  Hope you like and – I’m just telling you right now to add this one to your wish list!
