Stampin’ Up! Sure Do Love Heart Happiness for the Stamp Ink Paper #137

Happy Tuesday, folks – and welcome to another edition of the Stamp Ink Paper challenge!

We had a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge this week – one of my favorites!  In honor of Valentine’s Day (it’s tomorrow, in case you’ve lost track!) I used the Heart Happiness stamp set and the Sure Do Love You bundle.  On top of some of my fave DSP – the Wood Textures DSP.  Take a look-see:

In case you want to play along – and why wouldn’t you?!? – here’s the Stamp Ink Paper #137 Tic-Tac-Toe board.  I went right down the middle column – what will you create!? 🙂

But – I also needed a little help with the layout – so I turned to the Sugar Peas Designs Mix It Up Challenge.

I started by Fast Fusing a piece of the Wood Textures DSP to a Peekaboo Peach mat for the card front.  Around that, I wrapped a length of Very Vanilla 1/2″ Lace Trim, securing it in the back with a little Fast Fuse.

I cut a Peekaboo Peach heart with the Sweet & Sassy Framelits, embossed it in the Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF, then adhered it to the panel with Liquid Glue.  

I stamped the pretty, flower-filled heart from the Heart Happiness stamp set in Early Espresso on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock.  Then I used my Blender Pens to color the image.  I picked up ink from the lids of my Peekaboo Peach, Powder Pink, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist and Emerald Envy ink pads.  Then I cut it with a die from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits and adhered it over the first heart with Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from Sure Do Love You in Peekaboo Peach on Very Vanilla and cut it with its die from the Lots to Love Box Framelits.  I popped it over the hearts with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish off the card front, I created a faux bow with a length of the Lace Trim and added a few Pearl Basic Jewels.

On the inside, I stamped the solid heart image from the Sure Do Love You stamp set in stamped-off-once Peekaboo Peach to the middle of a Very Vanilla panel.  I added a couple of flower images from Heart Happiness in Early Espresso and colored them with my Blender Pens and Powder Pink, Lemon Lime Twist and Emerald Envy ink.

I Fast Fuse’d the panel to a Peekaboo Peach mat and into my Thick Very Vanilla card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got a couple more flower images from Heart Happiness on the front…

…and a little more Wood Textures DSP on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Love that flower-dy Heart Happiness image, don’t you?  And the Sure Do Love You bundle – with the Lots to Love Box Framelits – is simply perfect for Valentine’s Day.  Hope you like!
