Stampin’ Up! Hello From OnStage 2017!

Happy Saturday!  I’m coming to you not-really-live 🙂 from Salt Lake City!  At the 2017 OnStage event!

Before I get going, let’s take a moment to thank all the Veterans out there.  They’ve served and given much (or all) in our defense and we must each be grateful – every day, but especially on Veteran’s Day.  Thank you, one and all.

So, thought you might enjoy some pictures of what we’ve been up to here!  Still can’t give you any sneaky peeks of the new catalog…watch for those on Monday, okay??

I wanted to show you the cute little treat holders I made and brought with me for all the Critters-N-Creatin’ Krew and Amy’s Inkin’ Krew ladies who came to the event this year!

If you’re a Paper Pumpkin subscriber – you probably recognize these as the cute little treat pillow boxes from the September kit!  But…I bet when you got yours they weren’t all made up and stuffed with…chocolate! 😉

And for my Critters-N-Creatin’ Krew ladies who made the trek to OnStage this year…

A Stampin’ Up! Love Today Planner – to help them keep track of their business efforts!!  I’ve got one and love it – so I figured they would, too!

I’ve gotten lots of rest and time to chill-ax here at OnStage!

NOT!

It’s been a wonderful whirlwind of new products and whoo-hooing and laughter and whoo-hooing and demonstrations and whoo-hooing….you get the drift!  On top of seeing the new 2018 Occasions Catalog (which is…beyond amaze-balls!!) and the Sale-A-Bration catalog (who knew they could notch it UP so far?!?) – I’m spending time with some of my favorite peeps!!

Ready?  That’s Amy, Julie, Mary (no lie – we discovered yesterday morning at breakfast that we’re both Mary Kathleen!!), Jari, Kristi, Deepa, Jackie and Beth!

One of the fun things about coming to any Stampin’ Up! event is…Prize Patrol!  A drumroll commences – and they show us the prize (a stamp set from the new catty) and up on the screen flashes a picture of a pin!  If the picture matches the one you got in your welcome bag – then you win!  At which time – you leap to your feet and start acting the fool and whoo-hooing and clapping and a member of the Home Office comes and hand you a new goody!!

Julie quickly got the hang of it!!

Once you get your new goody – you have to pose for a picture.

It’s a real thing.

Oh – you weren’t hoping to be able to scope out the new goodies were you?!?  Don’t even bother enlarging those pictures – won’t work.  No peeks until Monday at 1pm Mountain Time!!  But – good effort!

Amy sort of tried to pose – but…I got a picture of her she’d hate.

So – I’m going to be her friend and not post it.

Unless she tries to accuse me of any more nefariousness – then – THEN – I’ll trot that picture out!  Let’s just call it…insurance, shall we?!? 😉

And – I got to attend CenterStage on Thursday night with Amy.  Wow!

Great dinner… totally not diet friendly – but seriously yummy!  If you’ve never had Port Onion Bisque en Croute (and who has?!?) – well.  Mmmmmm!!!

The evening ended with a speaker – one of the funniest guys I’ve ever gotten to watch!  Folks – if you ever get a chance to see Jason Hewlett do his thing – go go GO!  He had the whole room rolling – even as he delivered his motivational talk.  Really awesome!

On Friday, we spent the morning in the MainStage area, watching several demonstrators….well…demonstrate! the new products.  Then it was time to breakout into the different product spotlight sessions, where we got to learn about a few of the new Suites and do our make-and-takes.

Amy led one of the sessions – you won’t be surprised to hear that she rocked it!

You may also not be surprised that we did a lot of clapping, cheering and whoo-hooing during her presentation. 😉

So – we’re at the half-way point here – the time goes so quickly!  I can’t wait until Monday afternoon when I can share the new catalog and Sale-A-Bration!!  You’re going to be….wowed!

TTFN

Mary

P.S.  We also got word of a new Stampin’ Tool.  I think you’re going to want it.

P.P.S  And by “want” it – I mean “want it BAD!!” 😉

P.P.S.  Just sayin’.

P.P.P.S.  That was kinda mean, wasn’t it?? 😉

  1. Thank you for sharing little tidbits, pics and teases! That was a great pic of Amy demonstrating. I’m hoping they’ll have a video available for us poor folks who couldn’t attend. I can’t wait til Monday afternoon!!

  2. Kate

Great thank you remembrances! And chocolate too? Yikes!
And great to see you all having such a fun time!

  3. Loved your gift! The chocolate has kept me going through the event. 🙂 And I’ll try to behave myself…I did see the photographic evidence of my prize patrol win and it wasn’t pretty. 😉

  4. Kathy L

Lotsa fun goin’ on! Do we get to guess what the tool may be??? I have a wish/guess, but I won’t say. Might jinx things. Enjoy the rest of your time there, but I don’t need to say that!

  5. Kathy L

PS…many thanks to you for your contributions to our country’s safety!

  6. Susan K

I’d already tried enlarging the prize patrol pics before I read on! Drats! Sounds like such fun! Glad you got to do some wah-hooing in with your weeks of work in Utah! (I’m thinking it was a wise choice to wait to spend my peppermint points! Thanks for that flexibility!)

  7. Great post, Mary! Well, mostly anyway. 🙂 I just now had a chance to see this, so thank you for EVERYTHING!! Loved the little box of chocolates, between chips (the potato variety) and chocolate I will never lose weight! On Stage was SO much fun. Best part was hanging out with the Inkin’ Krew team and some of the Critters ‘n’ Creatin’ Krew, or is it Crew? Anyway….a great bunch of friends. I think we are now FAMILY (family that we chose)!
And, thank you for the planner. It will be a great help.

    • So glad that you like the Planner – and SO SO SO happy that you were able to join us at onStage! You are so right – the best part was all of us being together! It’s one of the best parts of Stampin’ Up! period!! We’ve got a super team – who also is now our family!! 🙂
