Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Bouquet Anniversary Card!

Happy Monday, y’all!  Hope you had a great weekend!  I really actually did!  Got cards made, signed up a new demonstrator into the Critters-N-Creatin’ Knew (Hi, Lynda!!), did a video last night – and still got a few naps, a little extra sleep, a few movies watched and the grocery shopping done!  Boom! 🙂

So yesterday, I gave you a tease of my card for my Facebook Live video.  Here’s a reminder.

Well, the more I looked at that card – the less I liked it.  So…I started over on Sunday morning.  And I did about 4 different embossed card fronts before I found the one that made me happy.  Still used the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and matching Bouquet Bunch Framelits.  Take a look-see:

If you joined me last night, you got to see how I made this one.  If not – you can check it out right here on YouTube!

First off, I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set in Marina Mist ink in the corner of the Very Vanilla panel.  I covered it with a small piece of Sticky Note and then made the light Powder Pink embossed “brick wall” – by sponging over the brick patterned Pattern Party Mask with Powder Pink ink and then applying the Embossing Paste.  That pulled just a little of the pink into the paste!  Once it dried, I lightly sponged over the top with more Powder Pink ink and used Fast Fuse to adhere it to a Marina Mist mat.

I created the bouquet by stamping flowers in Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight and cutting them with their dies in the matching Bouquet Bunch Framelits.  The tulips are two piece flowers – the video shows you how to make those!

I also cut a few Powder Pink and Whisper White flower clusters as well as a Pear Pizzazz bunch of stems.

Then I put the bouquet together with Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I created a “wrapper” with Crumb Cake ink and adhered it over the stems, then I added a double-strand bow of Linen Thread with a dab of Liquid Glue.  Finally, I adhered another Marina Mist flower and a couple of Pear Pizzazz leaves in the corner and added some Glitter Enamel Dots to the Marina Mist flowers. And that was it for the card front.

On the inside, I stamped two more sentiments from Beautiful Bouquet – one in Marina Mist and one in Pear Pizzazz in the middle of a Very Vanilla panel.  Over that, I stamped a cluster of flowers in stamped-off-once Powder Pink.  The flower in the corner is stamped in Marina Mist, covered with a mask, and then decorated with a couple of Pear Pizzazz leaves.  And, since it seemed like a good idea, I also added a Glitter Enamel Dot to the flower center!

I SNAILd the panel to a Marina Mist mat and into my Basic Black card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done.

My Very Vanilla Medium Envelope got another Marina Mist Beautiful Bouquet flower and Pear Pizzazz leaves on the front…

…and then I added more of the Powder Pink flower clusters on the envelope flap.

Et Voila!  Hope you’re love love loving the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and Bouquet Bunch bundle, cuz I sure am!  The set has so many pretty sentiments that, although this one is an Anniversary card – you could simply change up the sentiment (all with this one stamp set!) and go a whole ‘nuther direction!  And – the embossing paste and Pattern Party masks are a lot of fun for adding cool texture to your projects.  Hope you like!
