Stampin’ Up! Sealed with Love Valentine’s Card

Good morning, y’all!  Happy Saturday! From home!

I was met with the anticipated wiggle butt – after he stared at me from the living room as I came in thru the garage door!  He wasn’t entirely sure who it was until I called him.  Then he was all over me!  And – didn’t even have an “accident”!  Maybe he’s outgrowing that little quirk…. 🙂

And – you do know we’re talking about Finn….right?  Not Wayne!

So, it occured to me that since we’re getting really close to Valentine’s Day I probably ought to make a Valentine’s Day card.  Right?  I used the pretty Sealed with Love bundle and some Sending Love DSP to make a cute and easy little card for you to CASE.  Take a look-see:

I started with a piece of Sending Love DSP and SNAILd it on Soft Sky and Real Red mats for the card front.

I used all the little dies in the Love Notes Framelits (which I got bundled with the Sending Love stamp set for a 10% discount), and cut some shapes.  The little heart that you see at the top is actually the 3-d heart cut from Sending Love DSP – but I snipped the center out of it so I’d just have the “outline”,

The cupid’s arrow and the next heart are cut from Gold Foil.  Finally, I made a little envelope from a piece of Soft Sky card stock, and added a liner of Sending Love DSP – both cut with dies in the Love Notes Framelits. For the little note inside the envelope, I stamped the Sealed with Love line of hearts image in Real Red on Whisper White and cut it out with the note-card die.  Then I added the tiny sentiment in Real Red.  Just for ducks, I stuck on a gold Mini Paperclip.

The sentiment, from Sealed with Love, is heat embossed in Gold on Whisper White and cut with the largest circle Stitched Shapes Framelit, then matted on the largest scalloped circle from the Circles Layering Framelits in Soft Sky.

I started building the card – adhering the shapes above the sentiment with Liquid Glue.  I popped the sentiment circle on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  

Lastly, the envelope is adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals and some Liquid Glue.  To finish it off, I added a small Sending Love Embellishment with a few dabs of Liquid Glue, and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped a second Sealed with Love sentiment in Real Red in the center of a Whisper White panel.  Over that, I added the hearts image in Soft Sky.

I SNAILd the panel to Soft Sky and Real Red mats and into my Whisper White card base, popped the card front on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card was done!

Across the front of my Whisper White Medium Envelope, I stamped a line of Sealed with Love Soft Sky hearts…

…and gave the envelope flap more of the Sending Love DSP!

Et Voila!  Very easy to make, thanks to the fun dies in the Love Notes Framelits and all the cute little images and sentiments in Sending Love.  Hope you like! 🙂
