Stampin’ Up! Cozy Critters Labeler Winter!

Happy Hawwmp Day, y’all!  Love how quick that comes in a 4-day week, don’t you?

I spent this morning toting my kitchen-full of stuff that needed to be re-homed to the Goodwill!  Ah – feels good to get some of it gone, I have to say!  More to go, for sure, but…it’s a start, heh?

And my catalog share goodies arrived, so….there’s lots of cutting and snipping and wrapping in my near future!

One of the fun things that I got along with my shares – Stampin’ Rewards are a beautiful thing, aren’t they?! – is a little stamp set that caught my eye as soon as I opened the catalog.

Yea – it’s on the first page!

It’s the Cozy Critter host-exclusive stamp set – and I just love this little Owl!  I bought the Owl Builder Punch just as soon as I saw it – and grabbed the stamp set as soon as I could!  So that’s what I used today, along with my Labeler Alphabet stamp set.  Take a look-see:

My layout comes from a wide-open sketch challenge over at Stamp Ink Paper.  Challenge #64:

My color scheme comes from the Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge #246:

This one was quick and easy.  It begins with a simple Whisper White panel SNAILd to a Sweet Sugarplum mat.  I stamped the branch from Cozy Critters in Basic Black Archival ink.

My little owl I inked in Dapper Denim (maybe he’s wearing a winter jacket, okay??  Sheesh) and then punched him with the Owl Builder Punch.  Out – punched him out – I didn’t punch him – that would be rude!  Using my Stampin’ Write Markers, I colored his scarf Flirty Flamingo and the argyle pattern on his chest in Sweet Sugarplum.

I stamped the hat on a piece of scrap in Flirty Flamingo and punched it out with my Jolly Hat Builder Punch.  Then I punched it again from a piece of plain Sweet Sugarplum card stock.  I built the hat by popping the Flirty Flamingo “fleece” and the “ball” onto the hat with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then I adhered it to the owl with Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered him to the branch with a little more Liquid Glue and then popped a small Sweet Sugarplum Enamel Shape in the center of the hat-ball.

I made the sentiment – and, oh, isn’t it just so freakin’ clever?!?! – by stamping out the words in Dapper Denim and Flirty Flamingo using my Labeler Alphabet stamp set.  Then I cut each word out – dithered over where to stick them – and then stuck them down with Liquid Glue.

I popped this panel onto a piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front was done!

On the inside, I stamped the Cozy Critters owl again in Dapper Denim, having him peek in from the bottom corner, and colored him with the Stampin’ Write Markers again.  I matted the panel on Sweet Sugarplum and Flirty Flamingo.

I SNAILd this and the card front onto my Basic Black card base and the card was done.

The Whisper White Medium Envelope got two more Cozy Critter owls.  One on the front…

…and one on the back!

Et Voila!  I love this owl!  You should expect to see him again – probably with some pine boughs and pine cones!  And he probably won’t be wearing Dapper Denim, either!  Hope you like!
