Stampin’ Up! Grateful Bunch Honeycomb Easter Lamb Four Panel Fun Fold

Good Friday morning to you!  This week has flown by!  I had a great time in Huntsville this week.  Well, the work part was….tedious….but the rest of it was awesome!  I had lunch twice with my friend Matt – one of the very wonderful young men who I’ve told you about this past year.  He’s living in Huntsville – his brother Chris is up at UGA at Vet School!  I’m so darned proud of them both – couldn’t be more so if I’d birthed them myself.  They’re growing into just outstanding human people!! 🙂  Matt and I had a really good time.  Definitely something to look forward to for future visits there.

For today, I have a card to share that’s a reprise of a four panel fun fold that I did a week or so ago.  It’s going to be a quick explanation of the “fold” part – I’ve got the specifics over on my Tutorials Page! 🙂  This one uses the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set (Sale-A-Bration), Easter Lamb and Birthday Blossoms stamp sets.  And my fave flowers – the Blossom Bunch Punch flowers!  Take a look-see:

I played with a wide-open color sketch from Can You Case It – #111:

I picked Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaron as my three colors for this card!

I used the instructions over on my Tutorials page to build my Four Panel Fun Fold Card.  I used Mint Macaron as the mats on all four panels.  Three panels are made with Birthday Bouquet DSP and one (which would be the sentiment panel) is done in Whisper White.  I stamped the panels as outlined below before I adhered the “box” together (step 12 in the tutorial) – cuz doing it after the box was assembled would be more difficult! 🙂

On the two “front” panels, I stamped the dotted leaves image from Grateful Bunch, in Mint Macaron.  This adds a little interest under the focal circle mat.

The focal art started with a Pink Pirouette 2 3/8″ Circles Collection Circle matted on a 2 1/2″ Circle Punch Mint Macaron circle.  I stamped the uber-cute Easter Lamb on the circle in Basic Black Archival Ink.  Then I brushed my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush all over him – so he’s a shimmery lambkin! 🙂

He’s surrounded by a bunch of Grateful Bunch/Blossom Bunch Punch flowers.  Oh my – I love love love this bundle.  I really believe it’s my favorite of all of them in the Occasions Catalog!  I stamped several in each color – Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight, and Mint Macaron.  Once I punched them all out, I shimmery-ed them with the Clear Wink and gave each of them a Pearl Basic Jewel.  Then I arranged them around the little lamb – adhering them with Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue!

I stamped the sentiment from Honeycomb Happiness in Mint Macaron on Whisper White and punched it with the Word Window Punch.  Then I kind of nestled it in amongst the Grateful Bunch flowers and adhered it with Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue.

I also added a butterfly from the Grateful Bunch stamp set.  I stamped it in Basic Black Archival Ink on a piece of Pink Pirouette card stock, and then punched it out with the Bitty Butterfly punch.  The punch doesn’t “go” with the stamp – but it got very close and the markings of this image are great!  Then I used just a little touch of Perfect Plum and some Pacific Point, using my “watercolor” Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to pick the ink up and color the butterfly.   I rolled the wings a little and adhered it with Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to a flower.  The final touch was to add a short line of Pearl Basic Jewels as his body.

I stuck the completed circle onto the card, as described in the Tutorial! 🙂

The sentiment on the Whisper White panel is from the lovely Birthday Blooms stamp set in the Occasions catalog and is stamped in Pink Pirouette.  I also added another little bit of dotted leaves from Grateful Bunch in Mint Macaron.  And that was it for the card!

The Medium Whisper White Envelope got a Basic Gray Archival Ink Easter Lamb peeking in from the corner.  I colored it in with my Pink Pirouette Stampin’ Write Marker, and then brushed him with my Clear Wink of Stella brush…

…and I gave it a liner with another piece of the Birthday Bouquet DSP, cut with my Envelope Liner Framelit.

Et Voila!  Another Four Panel Fun Fold card.  Once you figure out how ridiculously easy it is to make this kind of card, then the sky is the limit on how you decorate the panels and the art circle!  Go crazy!  Maybe it doesn’t need to be a “circle” – what about a butterfly?  Or an Oval or Square?  Or an Elephant??? 😉
